Pig Day Birthday Card - CTD583

Hello there! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have the colors pink, orange and blue to create with.
For my card I used the fun and adorable Hello Bluebird stamp set, Pig Day along with the coordinating Pig Day dies to create a birthday card. To create my card, I started out by stamping my images and coloring them using Copic markers then die cutting them out. I used three of the pigs from the Pig Day set as well as three balloons, birds and hearts, the birthday card is from the Moose and Friends stamp set and dies
For my background, I used a piece of white card stock and blended on some spiced marmalade and picked raspberry distress oxide ink then splattered on some water droplets and lifted them with paper towel. For my sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday Words die and die cut the birthday twice, glued them together and blended on some faded jeans distress oxide ink along the bottom. I used the word Happy from the Fall Friends stamp set which I stamped onto a white banner. To add a little sparkle, I used some iridescent glitter on the pompoms of the party hats.

You’re my Knight in Shining Armor

Hello, there! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today where I’m sharing a fun card that I created featuring the new Heartstrings Border Dies.
To create my card, I used the sweet stamp set, Enchanted along with the Enchanted dies. I started out by stamping some of the images from the Enchanted set and coloring them using Copic markers then die cut them out. Next I used the Frilly Frames Retro Petals dies and die cut a piece of the pretty yellow daisy paper from the Spring Fling cardstock pack. After that I cut a strip of the same pattern paper in lavender and used the Heartstrings Border Die and die cut a strip of white cardstock and layered them together.
Once that was done, I die cut a rectangle and blended on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink along the top and used the grass die from the Sunny Sentiments dies. I adhered my images, popping up the knight, princess and rectangle with foam tape and stamped my sentiment from the Enchanted set along the bottom.

Fairy Friends Birthday - CTD582

Hello, hello! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge.
For my card, I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Fairy Friends along with the Fairy Friends dies to create a birthday card. I started out by stamping several images from the Fairy Friends set as well as a few images from the Oh Gnome set and Gleeful Garden sets and then colored them using Copic markers. Once my images were colored, I used the coordinating dies, Fairy Friends, Oh Gnome dies and Gleeful Garden dies, to die cut them out.
I used a piece of hot pink gingham-linen Doodlebug Design paper and die cut it using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies for my background. I used the same rectangle dies to die cut a piece of white cardstock which I blended on some tumbled glass and peacock feathers distress oxide ink. After that I used the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders dies and die cut a piece of kraft cardstock and stamped my sentiment using my Misti tool. I attached my kraft hill with sentiment to my ink blended rectangle and adhered my images popping up the fairies with foam tape.

For My Birthday Princess - Enchanted

Hello, friends! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today where I’m sharing a tunnel card that I created featuring the sweet new stamp set Enchanted.
To create my tunnel card, I started out by stamping a few of the images from the Enchanted stamp set, coloring them using Copic markers, and then using the Enchanted dies to die cut them out. Next I used the Frilly Frames Hexagon die and die cut a piece of white card stock for my top layer. Using two circle dies I die cut first my top white layer using the larger circle die and then some lavender card stock using the smaller circle die.
Before adhering my die cut layers on my white card base, I blended on some spun sugar distress oxide ink, added my castle and green card stock hill then stamped my sentiment. The “birthday” portion of my sentiment was from the Prancing Pegasus stamp set. On my pink background I also stamped some of the star images from the Enchanted stamp set and added some glitter to each of them. Once the background for my tunnel card was done, I adhered my two layers using foam tape. I added my princess using more foam tape and adhered flowers from the Chickie Baby stamp set which I stamped colored and die cut using the Chickie Baby dies. I used the Banner Basics stamp set and Banner Basics dies along with the Phoebe Alphabet to stamp the Princess portion of my sentiment.
