Fall Birthday Card - Inspired By Challenge

Hello there, crafty friends! Today I’m excited to be a guest designer with the talented design team over at the Inspired By Challenge!
For the Inspired By challenge you can choose to use the inspiration photo or the sketch, I chose to use both for my fall time birthday card. To created my card, I used the fun Lawn Fawn stamp set, Thanks a Bushel along with the Thanks a Bushel dies. I also used the Happy Harvest stamp set and dies for the cornstalks and sunflowers and the Pick of the Patch set and dies for the cute squirrels.
I started by stamping out all of my images, die cutting them and then coloring them with copic markers. Next I used the Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames die and die cut it from the white card stock. I used some tumbled glass distress oxide ink and blended it on the inside circle for my sky and used a piece of ripe avocado card stock for the grass. For my background, I used a piece of brown polka dot paper from my scraps and die cut it using the Outside in Stitched Rectangle dies. I added my colored images, popping up the two squirrels and two apples and added my sentiment which I used the Wavy Sayings set and Simple Wavy Banners dies.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll take the time to play along with the Inspired By Challenge this week!

Tea Time Mice - CTD661

Hi there! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have some cool neutral colors to create with.
For my card, I used the adorable Colorado Craft stamp set, Tea Time Fun along with the Tea Time Fun dies. These images illustrated by Anita Jeram are so fun to color! I started out by stamping and die cutting a bunch of the images from the set, then chose a few of them to color with copic markers to create my scene. Using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies I die cut first a white piece of card stock and then a gray gingham piece of Doodlebug paper for my background. I popped up the two mice and the sugar bowl with foam tape and added some glitter to the sugar in the spoon and bowl.

Container Garden - CTD660

Hello, hello! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge!
For my card I used a new favorite stamp set, the Container Garden by The Greetery. When I received the Container Garden set and Container Garden dies I used the dies and die cut a bunch of the shapes out so that all I had to do was stamp and them and put a card together.

For my background I used a piece of enchanted evening card stock along with a strip of enchanted evening polk a dot paper. For the inside of the jar, the backdrop, I blended on some tumbled glass and faded jeans distress oxide ink and stamped my sentiment. For the stems I simply chartreuse and ripe avocado ink and for the daisy flowers I used daffodil delight and chocolate chip ink. The little flowers were stamped in more mustard, bashful blue and brocade blue ink. As a finishing touch I added some brown and blue Stickles to the flowers to give them a bit of sparkle and some yellow glitter to the bees.

Oh Gnome! - CTD659

Hello there! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have some great colors to create with.
When I first saw the colors for this week’s challenge I thought of creating something Halloween but then I’ve been wanting to pull out the adorable Oh Gnome stamp set and dies with the cute mushroom house so that’s what I went for.

I stamped and die cut my images and colored them using copic markers then die cut the Mushroom House in cream and red card stock, the door and window from kraft card stock. I used the Outside in Stitched Square dies and die cut a piece of orange gingham Doodlebug paper for my background then die cut a piece of white card stock using the Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames and blended on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink along the top inside of the circle. For my sentiment, I used the Wavy Sayings stamp set along with the Simple Wavy Banners dies.
