Hello there! It’s Wednesday and the last day of July, can you believe it? I’m sad that summer is going by so fast. Today I’m sharing my card for the new Color Throwdown Challenge that starts today with some bold colors and a fun inspiration photo. This is also the first card in a small card series I created using these colors and similar products.
For my card, I used the adorable new Hello Bluebird stamp set Strawberry Jam along with the coordinating Strawberry Jam dies. I stamped and colored all of my images using Copic markers and paper pieced the picnic blanket. I used some older Papertrey Ink pure poppy patterned paper for both the picnic blanket and for the card front. I used the Stitched Sentiment Strips dies and die cut a banner and stamped my sentiment. I adhered black card stock to my card front then attached the picnic blanket and accessories then added the mouse and bird with foam tape. After that I adhered the top piece, with the strawberry vine frame and red polka dot paper, with foam tape. The little green caterpillar was popped up with foam tape as well.

Hello and happy Wednesday! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge and we have some fun summer colors to create with.
With the challenge colors of orange, pink and yellow, I pulled out a stamp set I thought would work well which was the Lawn Fawn So Smooth stamp set and So Smooth dies. I stamped all of my images and colored them with Copic markers then die cut them out. The bunch of bananas I stamped from the Love Ya Bunches stamp set. I stamped my sentiment onto a banner that I die cut using the Everyday Sentiment Banners die. I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables die and blended on some wild honey distress oxide ink in the middle and added some white splatters of craft paint. I used some Doodlebug Designs yellow and orange paper for along the top and bottom and adhered my stitched panel to a white card base. I popped up the blender and bananas using foam tape.

For my card, I used the Altenew stamp set Floral Fantasy along with the Floral Fantasy dies to create a birthday card. I used a white card base then added a strip of silver metallic card stock and then a scrap piece of charcoal gray polka dot paper. I used the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle dies to die cut a piece of white card stock and then used the Painted Greetings stamp set for my sentiment.
