Hi there! It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted anything here on my blog but I’ve been busy. We’ve had some projects going on at our house that have taken up my time and have been a lot of work but the end is in sight. I’m happy to be back and sharing my card for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where I created a Mexican themed birthday card for my brother’s 60th birthday which is this week.
To create my slimline birthday card, I used a bunch of different Lawn Fawn stamp sets and dies so instead of actually describing how I made my card I’m going to just list the supplies:
Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die for my images.
Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean distress oxide ink for my background.
Giant Happy Birthday to You die.
Party Animal set for the balloons.
Scalloped Box Card Pop-up for the banner.
So Smooth set for the margaritas.
Year Ten for the cacti.
Year Nine for the tacos and party hats.
Thanks a Latte for the mustache face on the one taco.
And copic markers for all of the coloring on the images and white gel pen for highlights.
