CTD#218/DS#77 - Hello Friend

Hi folks!  It's my turn as hostess over at the Color Throwdown Challenge this week and I've chosen some colors based on a pretty bird photo I found on Pinterest.
It's crazy how I actually started off creating a card using these colors and a bird stamp set and ended up with a coffee cup card...and you should see my work space.  Anyhoo, for my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Warm Happiness and Mega Mixed Messages for my sentiment along with the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #77.
Be sure to check out what the other design team members have come up with for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!

FSS/Games People Play

Hi there!  I'm here today to share another card I've created using the new Fresh Squeezed Stamps set Games People Play.  I used the rectangle images, the small numbers, heart and the letters from the set to create a crossword puzzle look for my card.  I started out with a black card base which I embossed using a rectangle Nestabilities die, then added a vertical banner of My Mind's Eye black polka dot paper.  Next I added a strip of red cardstock through the middle, my stamped crossword, some bakers twine and buttons.
Be sure to stop by the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog to see all of the new stamp sets, card inspiration and fun Squeeze-a-Palooza challenges!

PDCC#157/rs#37 - Dilly Beans

Good morning!  Today I have a card using a Dilly Beans digital image, which is new to me because I've never downloaded one of these images to use on a card before.  I was inspired by Arielle Gordon with all of her beautiful cards she's created using the Dilly Beans images and other images as well, she has a wonderfully fun creative style that I love.  So when this image was offered on the Dilly Beans site as a free download I decided to give it a try.
Along with the Dilly Beans image I used the The Play Date Cafe Color Challenge #157 which has some fantastic rich berry colors this week and the Retro Sketches Challenge #37 which I flipped so my scallops would be on the right of my image.  I had so much fun coloring this sweet image with my Copics that I'm looking forward to using it again and trying out a few other DB images.
Supplies: Dilly Beans Digi Image, All Occasion Messages (sentiment)-Hero Arts, Copic markers, Spica glitter pen, Glaze pen, My Mind's Eye dp, Scallop border die, Polka dot embossing folder, Bakers twine, Heart stick pin, Foam tape.  Colors: Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzleberry.

Thanks for stopping by!

FSS/RS#36 - Winter Wonderland

Hi there!  Today I'm sharing a card that I created using the new Fresh Squeezed Stamps set called Winter Wonderland which is being released today.  This is such a fun stamp set with so many cute images which can be used indiviually like I have on my card today or you could use them to create a whole scene if you'd like.  Be sure to stop over at the Fresh Squeezed Stamps blog this week as they'll be giving away one free stamp set for each new release.
For my card I used the FSS set Winter Wonderland and the Retro Sketches Sketch Challenge #36 for my layout.  I ended up turning the sketch and using the little log cabin from the stamp set which I paper pieced with some My Mind's Eye designer paper.
Supplies: Winter Wonderland - FSS, My Mind's Eye dp, Copic markers, Snowflake embossing folder, Snowflake die - TE, Button, Bakers twine, Foam tape.  Colors: Garden Green, Real Red.
