Thanks - {The Challenge #22}

Hi there!  The Challenge #22 is new today and has a fun sketch and great color pallet for all of us to create with!  We hope you'll join the design team and play along.
Using The Challenge #22 colors, I created two square thank you cards with the fun Lawn Fawn stamp set Love You a Latte.  Both cards have brown card bases and I used the same dot embossing folder for texture but for the top card I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Argyle Backdrops on the card base and on the bottom card I randomly stamped the little coffee bean on the background.

Sending You Sunshine - {SSSC250}

Hello there and good morning!  The Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge is back after taking a break for the holidays and we hope you'll play along.
The sketch Karen has for us, has a wonderful large main panel which you could stamp almost anything.  I decided to pull out a stamp set I haven't used in a while and stamp something cheerful.
Supplies: Hello Sunshine - PTI, Polka dot embossing folder, bakers twine, cloud dies - PTI, Vellum, circle punch.  Color: Daffodil Delight.

Have a great day!

Exciting News!

Hi everyone!  I hope all of you had a fun and safe New Years.  We did our usual early dinner and a movie, then home to ring in the New Year and since our two older children were out with friends, our youngest son was stuck hanging out with mom and dad.
I've got some exciting news! I was asked by Frances Byrne to join the Crazy 4 Challenges design team and I've excepted.  I'm looking forward to working with the talented group of women from the team and sharing what I create from each "Crazy Challenge".
This week's challenge is to create a "Clean & Simple" card and since my supply of birthday cards is down, I decided to go with a one layer birthday card.
Supplies: Birthday Style, Think Big Favorites #12 - PTI.  Colors: Raspberry Fizz, Hawaiian Shores, Daffodil Delight, Going Gray.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the design team has created:

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Happy Valentine's Day

 Hello!  This is my second post for today (I know twice in one day?!).  I've got one more card for the Mama Elephant Challenge that ends tonight, so while I had all my supplies out I decided to make another card.
Like my earlier post, this card uses the Mama Elephant stamp set Pandamonium along with the Happy word die that coordinates with the Happy Everything set.  This is a shaker card except that the shaker window is flat and created using a sandwich of white card stock and vellum with little red hearts as my shaker pieces.
I started out with a white card base, added a die cut panel of red scallop, then used an embossing folder to emboss a white panel on top of that.  I liked the backside of the embossing on the white card stock, where the dots where indented so I used it that way.  Then I added my die cut heart shaker, my stamped and colored popped up panda with his little Valentine and underneath that, my black die cut happy.  I used an older Stampin Up set that I had for the Valentine's Day sentiment flag.  I really have very little Valentine's Day stamps, I might need to fix that :)
