Thanks a Bunch!

Hello friends!  It's been a few days since my last post and all I can say is that my day job as mom, house cleaner and taxi service was putting a damper on my stamp time.  Today I have a fun card to share using a new stamp set that I just got in the mail this afternoon {I love happy mail}.  I was blog surfing about a week ago when I followed a link to the Penny Black web site and as I was browsing around I saw this Betsy Bluebell stamp set and knew I had to have it, lol.  The images in this set are so cheerful and fun looking I couldn't pass it by!

Supplies: Betsy Bluebell - Penny Black, DeLovely DP - Cosmo Cricket, Nesties, Copics, Spica Glitter pen, Circle punch, Border punch, Blossom Party Sizzix die-SU, Button, Thread, Pop dots.
It's difficult to see but I used a Spica glitter pen on the butterflies and all the flowers to give them a little sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by!

SSSC87 - Happy "Bird"-day to you!

Good morning!  It's time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!  For my card I ended up turning the sketch and using this fun Denami Design bird stamp that I purchased while I was at CHA a few months ago.  These little birds crack me up and were fun to color using my Copic markers.  I added some dazzling diamonds to the top of their party hats but other than that I kept this card simple.

To play along create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen’s blog The Sweetest Thing and link your card so we can all see your creation!

Be sure to visit each of the Sweet Sunday Stampers below for more samples using this week’s sketch!

MTSC93 - Even Better

Happy Thursday!  Can you believe it's the last day of September already?  The older I get the faster the months and years go by.  Any who today I have a card for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge which uses more goodies from the Taylored Expressions September Key Ingredient Kit and the TE stamp set Tweet Hearts.  You would not believe the amount of projects you can create with the materials in just this one kit.  I created this box as a start and have been making cards to put inside of it to give as a gift for Christmas and I still have a lot more supplies left.

This is a close up shot of my card so that you can really see the pretty embellishments from the Key Ingredients Kit like the ribbon, rick-rack and designer brad that I used on my card.
