Happy Harvest - CTD564

Good morning! Thank you for stopping by! Over on the Color Throwdown blog we have a new challenge that starts today with some great fall colors and we hope you’ll play along.
The minute I saw this week’s challenge colors and the inspiration photo I thought of these cute Lawn Fawn stamps and creating a fun fall scene. To create my card, I started out by stamping the apple images from the Thanks a Bushel set and the Happy Harvest stamp set then colored them using Copic markers and then using the Thanks a Bushel dies and the Happy Harvest dies to die cut them out. I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies to die cut a piece of red gingham Doodlebug paper for my background and used the Small Stitched Rectangle dies for my images. I blended on some tumbled glass distress oxide ink along the top of my white rectangle for the sky and used the Grassy Hillside Borders dies and some yellow Lawn Fawn Knock on Wood paper for the ground. I attached all of my images, popping up the main white rectangle, scarecrow and apples with foam tape. I stamped the happy harvest sentiment onto a banner that I had die cut using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips dies.
For more inspiration, check out the design teams blog links below or you can go to the Color Throwdown blog for details on how to play along and see all of the sample entries in one location.
