Under the Sea - CTD701

Hello, all! I’m popping in with a mini slimline card that I created for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge.
To create my card, I used the following stamp sets: Ocean Shell-fie, Mermaid for You, Fintastic Friends and Seahorsin’ Around along with the coordinating dies. I used a mini slimline die from Hello Bluebird and used it as a stencil for my background then stamped, die cut and colored my images with copic markers.

Have a BERRY happy birthday

Hello there! I hope you’re having a good day! Today I’m sharing a card that I created using the Lawn Fawn stamp set Berry Special along with the coordinating dies.
Since the mice from the Berry Special stamp set are on the small side, I thought they would be cute if I made little scenes inside the Peekaboo Backdrop die which I die cut from red card stock. I stamped out a bunch of the images from the set, die cut them and then colored them using copic markers. Next I cut a piece of white card stock to use as my background and used the Cloudy Stencil with some tumbled glass distress oxide ink.
After that, I used some new leaf card stock for the grass and then attached my red frame from die cutting the Peekaboo Backdrop. Once that was done all that was left was to add my images. I popped up  all of the mice, the cupcake and strawberry with foam tape and then added a banner with my sentiment.

Sweet as Honey

Hello there! Today I’m sharing a card I created using some new products from the latest release from The Greetery.
For my card I used the new Honey Jar stamp set and dies along with the Buzz-Worthy Sentiments which were designed to work perfectly together. I started out by die cutting and stamping several of the Honey Jar images including the bees. Next I stamped the word honey from the Buzz-Worthy set and die cut it along with two extra sets of the word and I glued them together to give some dimension and make it pop.

As I was laying my card out, I decided it needed some flowers so I used the Container Garden stamp set and dies and die cut and stamped the images then cut the die cut piece in half so that I could have flowers surrounding my honey jar.

I used a stitched rectangle die and white card stock for to stamp part of my sentiment, then added my flowers and die cut honey word then popped up the honey jar with foam tape. For my background I die cut a piece of so saffron card stock with a scalloped rectangle die and stamped the honeycomb images from the Buzz-Worthy set in two of the corners. After that I added foam tape to my white rectangle piece and added it to my scalloped background piece. To finish off my card I added some brown Stickles glitter to the black-eyed susan flowers and some iridescent glitter to all of the bees wings.
Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check in this Wednesday where I’ll have another card using these fun new products!
