TYIC#3/CTS#87 - Birthday Roses

Hi there friends!  It's time for the Tag You're It! Challenge #3 and we're teaming up with the CAS(E) this Sketch for a super fun challenge!

For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Wet Paint along with The Sweet Life to create a birthday card.

Butterfly Birthday - {PP206/CMCC31}

Hello there!  Today I've got a birthday card that I created using two challenges, The Paper Players Challenge using their great sketch and the Color Me Creative Challenge where you can chose from one of their fun color pallets.

Supplies: Life is Beautiful butterfly dies, Boutique Borders: Birthday for the sentiment, Hexagon plate, Button, MME designer paper, Vellum, Oval dies, Foam tape.  Colors: Regal Rose (I didn't have strawberry slush), So Saffron, Daffodil Delight.  

Hope Your Day is Fabulous - {MIM#174/STS#25/CC#15}

Hi there, hope you're having a good Monday so far!  Today I'm popping in to share a card that I created for a few challenges.  First, I was inspired to try the Wallpaper Stamping technique that Ashley Cannon Newell demonstrated for this week's Papertrey Ink's Make-it-Monday #174.  I loved the idea of creating a wallpaper pattern as a background using different pieces/elements from your stamp sets, very fun.  I used two PTI stamp sets, Button Boutique for my dotted grid lines and Sending You for my leaves and flowers along with Signature Greetings for my sentiment.

 The other two challenges that I was inspired by were The Card Concept Challenge #15 with it's fresh color challenge and Seize the Sketch Challenge #25 with it's fun layout.

Smile

Hi there!  Today I've got a birthday card that I was inspired to create using the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge.  It's the Curtain Call's one year anniversary and it's an anything goes challenge.

 

Supplies: PTI Just Smile + dies, Tag Sale die #9, Impressions plate, Scallop border punch, Ribbon, Bakers twine, Rhinestones, Pearls, Foam tape.  Colors: Aqua Mist, Pretty in Pink, Pink Pirouette.  

With Sympathy

Hello!  Today I've got a sympathy card that I'm sharing.  I used the Clean & Simple sketch #300 below for my card, I'm not sure that it qualifies since I didn't use ribbon, but the sketch was my inspiration.  I always say I'm going to make a batch of sympathy cards to have at hand and some how I never get around to making them until I actually need one.  I did a bit of ghost stamping on this card and used the PTI sets Meadow Greens, Think Big Favorites #3 and Houndstooth.

STS#24/MIM - You Color My World

Hi there!  This is my second post for today so if you're looking for my Sweet Sunday Sketch post, view the post below this one.  I've got two card for this post, both with a rainbow theme.  The first card is for the Seize The Sketch Challenge #24 and uses the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Ombre Builders (such a cool set) and Beautiful Butterflies.

 

The second card I have is for the Papertrey Ink Make-it-Monday Challenge which is all about pop up die cuts and partial die cutting using your dies.  In keeping with my rainbow theme, I used the same sets as above Ombre Builders along with the Beautiful Butterflies set and die but used the pop up die cutting technique (very fun! I need to jump in and participate with the Make-it-Monday Challenge more often).

SSSC#227/CQC#249 - Birthday Wishes

 Good morning!  It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!

For my card I combined this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch with the colors from this week's Colour Queen Challenge #249 to create a shaker birthday card.  I was super excited to receive my Shakers & Sprinkles kit that I ordered from Papertrey Ink and used some of the pieces along with the PTI stamp set Birthday Style to put this card together.
