Fall Fairy - (CTD466)

Hello!  I'm behind schedule for my Color Throwdown Challenge card but better late than never.
For my card, I used the My Favorite Things stamp set Fairy Happy and Fairy Happy Die-namics and created a fall themed birthday card using this week's colors.  I started out with a white card base, added a horizontal panel of simply chartreuse and then a die cut panel of perfect plum which I die cut using the MFT Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle Die-namics. Next I added a vertical piece of Doodlebug Designs fall designer paper and a white rectangle which I die cut from the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle Die-namics as well.  After that, I stamped and colored my fairy using Copic markers then die cut her out.  I wanted a feel of her flying in a swirl of leaves so I stamped the leaves from the Pure Innocence Jumping For Joy set and added them to my card along with the fairy which I adhered with foam tape.  I added a die cut and stamped Stitched Sentiment Strip and some Wink of Stella glitter pen to her wings and I was done.

Happy Halloween - (CTD465)

Hi there!  Hope your week is going good so far.  We have a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge that starts today and we'd love it if you'd play along.
For my card, I used the colors from this week's challenge and the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Booyah along with the Booyah dies to create a Halloween card.  I started out with a white card base that I blended on some pumice stone distress ink around the top edges.  Next I used the Leafy Tree Backdrop:Landscape die and die cut it twice using black cardstock along with the Little Picket Fence Border.  I also die cut a piece of lovely lilac cardstock using the Stitched Hillside Borders die and blended on some wilted violet distress ink along the edges.  I adhered the upper right tree first, trimming a bit, then the picket fence with hill and then the left black tree with frame.  Next I stamped my sentiment using the Happy Happy Happy Add On set and die and I stamped and added some Copic marker to my ghost and die cut them out then adhered each of them with foam tape.

So Thankful - (CTD464)

Hello!  It's Wednesday and time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge.
For my card, I used the cute Lawn Fawn Stamp set, Jump for Joy and the Jump for Joy dies.  I wanted to keep my card fairly clean and simple with the focus on the little scene in the center of my card.  To start off, I used a white card base and die cut a stitched white rectangle for a frame and die cut a white rectangle that was slightly bigger to go underneath the frame which I blended some tumbled glass distress ink on.  Next I die cut my tree using the Lawn Fawn Leafy Tree Backdrop:Landscape and some Knock on Wood patterned paper.  Once I die cut the tree, I cut it down to fit inside my stitched rectangle.  Next I stamped my sentiment and all of my images and colored them with Copic markers then die cut them out.  After that I adhered all of my pieces, popping up the little hedgehog with foam tape.

Foxy Thinking of You - (CTD463)

Hello there!  It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge.  Before I get to my card, I'd like to welcome this month's talented guest designer, Michele Ferguson.
For my card, I created a clean and simple thinking of you card using the My Favorite Things stamp set, Fall Friends along with the Fall Friends Die-namics.  I started out by adhering a panel of kraft cardstock to a white card base.  Next I cut a square piece of some orange gingham Doodlebug Designs paper and adhered that to my kraft cardstock panel.  After that, I die cut a white cardstock panel using the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies and Square Peek-a-Boo Window die and adhering that to my card with foam tape.  I stamped my images and colored them with Copic markers, then die cut them out and added them to card front popping up the fox.  The sentiment is from the All Smiles stamp set and was stamped onto an Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip.  As a final touch I glued on a few fall colored sequins.
