Flower Garden Scalloped Box Card

Hello there! I’m popping in today to share a fun new card that I created using the new Pretty Pink Posh Flower Garden stamp set and dies along with the new Scalloped Box Card die set that creates a three dimensional box.
The first think I did to create my card was to use the Scalloped Box Card dies and die cut my pieces from blue card stock and the scalloped pieces from white card stock. Using the new Flower Garden stamp set, I stamped my Mother’s Day sentiment on the from scalloped piece and stamped, die cut and then colored a bunch of the images from the set.
Once I had all of my pieces ready to go, I assembled my box and started added my images starting with the flower cart in the back, then the watering can and cluster of flowers and then the front panel with my sentiment. On the sides I added images of the garden boots and potted flowers.
I loved how easy this was to put together and how fun the Scalloped Box Card was to decorate with the images!

Never Stop Dreaming - August 2020 Large Die of the Month

Hello crafty friends! Today I’m sharing a project using Spellbinders August 2020 Large Die of the Month dies, 3D Still Life Easel & Frame and some Jane Davenport art supplies. I decided to create something I could keep at my art table where I draw, paint and do mixed media.
To create my project, I used this months dies and die cut the easel from kraft card stock and used some gold metallic paper for the reinforcement at the top of the easel and also as a fun detail on the paint brushes. Next I die cut the canvas from white card stock and taped that together.

After that, I used a rectangle Spellbinders die and die cut a piece of watercolor paper and using Jane Davenport’s bright watercolor palette, I watercolored an area of Best Friend pink water color towards the top of my rectangle. Once that was dry, I used Jane’s Horse Hug stamp set and stamped my Never Stop Dreaming sentiment as well as some black confetti dots from her Mad Confetti stamp set. Next I die cut the tubes of paint from silver metallic card stock, the paint caps and paint brushes from black card stock and teal card stock, the palette from kraft card stock and then I die the colors for my palette and the paint colors for the tubes of paint from white watercolor paper and painted them using the bright watercolor palette paints.

Rub-A-Dub-Dub - Day 4 Card Series

Good Sunday morning to you! Today I’m sharing the final card in my Rub-A-Dub-Dub card series that I’ve posting here on my blog. The card I have for today is a pop-up card using some of the same supplies I used to create my previous cards on Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.
To create my card, I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Rub-A-Dub-Dub along with the Rub-A-Dub-Dub dies. The first thing I did was to stamp more of the images from the Rub-A-Dub-Dub set and color them with Copic markers then die cut them out. I used a bunch of images from the set and colored a lot of bubbles. Next I used the Scalloped Box Card Pop-up die and die cut all of the main pieces from white cardstock. After that, I die cut the side panel pieces to the box from some Doodlebug aqua gingham paper. Since I wanted to make it look like my ducks were standing in bubbles, I using the Puffy Cloud Borders dies and die cut pieces from white cardstock to fit inside the box and around the bottoms of each outside panel which you can see in the photos above. I used the Fancy Folded Banners die and die cut it from a piece of Knit Picky paper for part of my sentiment which I attached to the upper back panel and the second part of my sentiment I stamped on the front panel. I used Glossy Accents on several of the bubbles to give them a wet look and used foam tape to adhere some of the ducks and bubbles throughout the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn Hay There Card Series Day 4

Today is Day 4 and the final day of my Lawn Fawn Hay There Card Series. Today I’m sharing a pop-up birthday card using the cute farm animal images from the Hay There stamp set.
I’m also entering my pop-up card into the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge which is to create a 3-D card. To construct my card, I used the Lawn Fawn Hay There stamp set and Hay There dies and the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die and die cut the main box from spring rain cardstock. The inside vertical panels were cut from new leaf cardstock and then using the Stitched Hillside Borders die I cut three pieces, one from the same green cardstock, one from yellow gingham and one from green designer paper and attached those to the vertical tabs to create rolling hills that I attached my images to. I also used the Little Picket Fence Border die and attached that to the first vertical tab with the barn. The images were stamped, then colored with Copic markers and then die cut. The three main images, the horse, cow and pig were attached using foam tape.
All of the flap panels were cut from white cardstock and each were decorated using the Stitched Hillside Border die and more images. For the front flap, I used the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set along with the Happy, Happy, Happy die to create the main part of my sentiment. I die cut three of the Happy from yellow cardstock and stamped the top Happy in summer sun ink then glued them all together and stamped the remainder of my sentiment in black ink.  For the back flap panel, I stamped the sun from the Hello Sunshine set and then blended on some spring rain ink and added two die cut clouds. To make the sun pop a little more, I stamped it again onto white cardstock and used a circle punch to punch out the center and attached it with foam tape.
For the bottom side panels, I used the Stitched Hillside Borders again with yellow gingham paper and added the pig and chick images on one and the goat and tin can on the other.
Thanks so much for stopping!

Happy Halloween Pop-Up Card

Hi there!  Today I'm popping in to share a fun Halloween Pop-up box card I created.  Yes I know, Halloween is more than a month away but since fall is my favorite time of year I figured I'd get started making some projects.
I used the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Card Pop-up die to create my card base and the adorable Halloween Lawn Fawn stamp set Booyah along with the coordinating Booyah dies.  The ghost from this set are just too cute and so fun to mix and match with different costumes.  I'm entering my Halloween pop-up card into the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge which is to create a scene.  Hopefully my card counts as a three dimensional scene.
Above is a quick video of my card and how it folds flat for mailing and what it looks like from different angles.
I stamped out my different images from the Booyah set, along with a few images from the Spooktacular stamp set, and colored them with Copic markers and added some white gel pen highlights. (The picture above is from my Instagram page where I'm playing along with The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge). Next I die cut the Scalloped Box Card from black cardstock and the side panels from some Doodlebug Designs Halloween Parade designer paper.  I also die cut the Cute Cobweb from black cardstock and glued it to the front lower panel and the smaller spider to the side panel.  For my Happy Halloween sentiment, I used the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set and dies and the Halloween sentiment from the Booyah set I stamped onto a Fancy Folded Banners die.  The hills inside the box were created with lavender lace cardstock which were die cut using the Stitched Hillside Borders and then I blended on some wilted violet distress ink.  Attached behind each hill, I added a black fence using the Little Picket Fence Border die and then I attached all of my images.
It's difficult to see in the pictures, but I added some silver glitter gel pen to the lightning bolt in the purple hair of the one ghost and some yellow glitter gel pen on the bolts and buckle on the other two ghost.  And I added some yellow Stickles on the stars on the background panel.
