Rainbow in a Jar Card Collection

Hello there! I’m popping in today to share a collection of cards that I created using the Queen & Company Love Jar Kit. For these cards, I started out using the basics from the Love Jar Kit and added some other fun Queen & Company supplies for a whole new look.
The first thing I did once I knew I wanted to make a some cards using rainbow colors was to die cut a bunch of the stems and flowers using the Love Jar Flowers & Stems dies. Once I had all of my die cut pieces, I began stamping my stems in new leaf ink and my flowers in real red, canyon clay, daffodil, marine mist and lovely lilac. For each card I used paper from the Dots Paper Pad which was perfect because it has all the colors in the rainbow in small and large dots. I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle for either my background piece or for a panel on my cards. For my first card, I used the heart tag and stamped a red heart in the center and then the sentiment stamp made with love. I filled the shaker with more red hearts, some clear and blue Pastel Diamond Toppings and some of the sweet yellow flowers that come in the kit.
For my second card, I wanted to do a horizontal card with the look of flowers spilling out of the jar. I stamped the hello heart and adhered it onto a stitch rectangle tag and tied it to the jar with some gray and white bakers twine. For all of my cards I used foam tape to pop some of the flowers and then added some fun yellow Goosebumps along with some rhinestones from the kit.
I know I wrote this before on previous post for cards that I created using Queen & Company supplies but my favorite part of making these shakers is getting to fill the shakers and jazz up the flowers with all of the fun gems, fillers and bling.

Love Jar Kit Card Collection

Hello there! Thanks for stopping by! Today I’m sharing a collection of cards that I created using the fun Love Jar Kit by Queen & Company. The Love Jar Kit comes with a large assortment of beautiful paper crafting supplies from the stamps, paper, foam cut outs, rhinestones, embellishments, shaker fillers and more. For all of my cards I used the pretty papers from the kit along with the mason jar shaker pieces (foam, acetate and backer piece) and dies and I used the flower stamps with the additional Love Jar Flowers & Stems dies.
For each of my cards I created, I stamped my stems in simply chartreuse ink and my flowers in lovely lady, hibiscus burst, raspberry fizz and harvest gold inks then die cut them out. I used papers from the kit for my backgrounds and to die cut the mason jar, lid and scalloped piece for under the lid. I die cut three of the rectangle tags using the die from the kit and for each card I stamped a different sentiment.
For the shaker fillers inside each card, I used clear and pink  Pastel Diamond Toppings, some Mini Wood Hearts and some flowers which are all included in the Love Jar Kit.  I used some of the bakers twine in gray, pink and yellow to tie on each of the tags on my cards and adhered my flowers with foam tape. Other than making the actual shaker which is easy and fun to do, adding the embellishments on the flowers is really fun.

Love in a Jar Shaker Card Kit

Hello! The sun has decided to make an appearance today which makes me happy since we’ve been having so many rainy days and flooding in our area. I’ve been itching to get out into the garden and do more work. Today I’m sharing another shaker card that I’ve created using the fun Love Jar Kit by Queen & Company. Everything included in this kit is so pretty from the floral stamp set to the coordinating papers and of course the beautiful embellishments and toppings. My favorite part of creating cards using this kit is deciding on what fun toppings to add inside the shaker and it seems like once I start adding embellishments to the flower, the whole card comes alive.
To create my shaker card, I started out by die cutting a bunch of the stems, flowers and leaves along with the tag using the Love Jar Flowers & Stems dies and then stamped the flowers in harvest gold, lovely lady, hibiscus burst and raspberry fizz ink then stamped the stems in limeade ice. I stamped the rectangle tag with one of the sentiments from the stamp set that comes with the kit and die cut the jar, lid to the jar and yellow scalloped piece for under the lid from papers from the kit. Next I adhered the papers that I chose from the kit to my card base. After that I assembled my shaker, I used my anti-static powder tool all inside the opening where my shaker bits would go and then added some of the clear and pink Pastel Diamonds Toppings, some of the sweet wooden hearts and three of the pink flowers from the kit. Once my shaker bits were added, I adhered the pre-cut acetate and die cut aqua paper to seal it up then added the lid and tied on my tag with the pink bakers twine from the kit. After that, I added my stems and adhered my shaker to my card front then adhered the flowers with foam tape. I used a mix of petite posies and rhinestones in pinks and yellows for the centers of my flowers.

Love in a Jar

Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. Today I’ve got a fun shaker card that I’m sharing where I used some new (to me) products from Queen & Company.
Usually shaker cards are a bit of a struggle for me with all the cutting of foam tape, acetate and having everything line up just right. Well after receiving the Love Jar Kit and some other supplies from Queen & Company, I can tell you it was so much easier to make a shaker card. Everything is pre-cut and ready to go which made it much more fun.
To create my card, I die cut a bunch of the stems, flowers and leaves along with the heart tag using the Love Jar Flowers & Stems dies and then stamped the flowers in a rainbow of colors and the stems in new leaf ink. I stamped the tag with the heart image from the kit in red ink and then stamped the for you sentiment. Next I used a piece of gray dot paper from the Love Jar Kit along with the mason jar lid die and die cut it out. After that, I used the Dots Paper Pad and die cut the mason jar, the red polka dot for under the lid, the yellow polka dot for my background and the red dotted paper for along the bottom of my card. Once all of my pieces were cut, it was time to assemble my shaker. I arranged my stems how I liked them onto the pre-cut white paper shaped as the mason jar and glued them down. Then I removed the backing to the pre-cut foam mason jar piece and adhered that on top of my stems. Next I used my anti-static powder tool all inside the opening where my shaker bits would go and then added some of the Love Jar Flower Toppings from the kit along with some clear Pastel Diamonds Toppings. Once my shaker bits were added, I adhered the pre-cut acetate and die cut aqua paper to seal it up. I wanted my stems to come out of the opening in the lid and not behind it so what I did was to use a piece of press n seal along the top of my stems coming out of my shaker and then cut the stems right at the top of the jar then adhered the lid to the jar, insert my stems through the hold in the lid and glue them from the back. Super easy and gave me the look I wanted. All that was left to do then was to tie on some yellow bakers twine from the kit and add my tag then adhere everything down, popping up my flowers with foam tape and added some fun yellow Goosebumps and some rhinestones from the kit.
