Toadally Awesome Center Picture Window Card - Day Two

Hi there! I’m here today to share the second card in a series of cards I created using the Lawn Fawn stamp set Toadally Awesome. Today’s card is a Center Picture Window card with a birthday theme.
I used the adorable frogs from the Toadally Awesome stamp set along with the coordinating dies as well as the  Center Picture Window Card die for something fun and unexpected to the recipient. I also used the Stitched Hillside Borders die for the water and the Grassy Hillside Borders die for the front and center of the card. I used the Party Animal stamp set with the coordinating dies for the party hats and used Copic markers to color all of my images. I used the distress oxide inks tumbled glass, salty ocean and lucky clover for blending the sky and grass.

Have a Toadally Awesome Father’s Day

Hello! I’m popping in today to share the card that I created for my husband for Father’s Day which was yesterday. This card is also the first in a series of cards that I created using the Toadally Awesome stamp set by Lawn Fawn.
Some stamp sets and dies I’ve used but haven’t used enough so sometimes I like to go back and find a set like that and create a batch of cards using it like the Toadally Awesome stamp set and coordinating dies along with the Bayou Backdrop that goes so perfectly with this set. I also used the Grassy Hillside Borders die and the Everyday Sentiment Banners die for part of my sentiment. I colored my images using Copic markers and for some depth I used the distress oxide inks tumbled glass and lucky clover.
Stop by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing my next Toadally Awesome card!

Happy Purrthday - Birthday Before ’n Afters - CTD547

Hello, hello! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. This week we have the colors yellow, orange, hot pink and green to create with, perfect for creating those summer birthday cards.
For my card, I used the new Lawn Fawn Birthday Before ’n Afters stamp set along with the coordinating dies to create a birthday card for someone special who loves cats. I used the Magic Picture Changer and Magic Picture Changer Add-On dies with the cake image from the Birthday Before ’n Afters set. I stamped and masked both cake images and blended on some tumbled glass and lucky clover distress oxide ink. I used some Doodlebug Design Dot Stripe Rainbow paper along with some yellow Spring Fling paper. I die cut the green paper using the Grassy Hillside Borders die and blended on some lucky clover oxide ink along the edges. Next I used the Simple Wavy Banners die and die cut it from white card stock and stamped my sentiment from the Meow You Doin’ set. I stamped several of the cat images from the Meow You Doin’ set and colored them with Copic markers, then die cut them out using the Meow You Doin’ dies. After that I used the new Say What Pets stamp set and dies for the smallest cat and speech bubble. For the balloons, I used the Party Animal stamp set and dies.

Hope You Have a Sublime Birthday - CTD546

Hello! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. Before I get to my card, I’d like to welcome this month’s Color Throwdown Guest Designer, Alicia Thelin.
For my card, I used the new Lawn Fawn Center Picture Window Card die and Center Picture Window Card Add-on die along with some fun underwater stamp sets to create a birthday card. I started out by die cutting all of my pieces for the Center Picture Window card and then blended on some tumbled glass and peacock feathers distress oxide ink along the main pieces. Next I stamped images from the You are Sublime stamp set and colored them with Copic markers, then die cut them out using the You are Sublime dies. I also used images from the Mermaid for You stamp set and dies and from the Fintastic Friends set and dies. I used some kraft card stock and the Stitched Hillside Borders dies to create a sandy bottom for my ocean card and blended on some walnut stain distress oxide ink along the edges.
