Before I get to writing about my projects for today I wanted to write about the new Stampin' Up news that was announced this week to all SU demonstrators. Stampin' Up is asking all of their demos to sign a new contract as of the end of this month and the long and short of it is - either your with Stampin' Up or your not! Stampin' Up has asked that all demos with an online presence who Blog, Twitter or Facebook be completely Stampin' Up. After hearing about this new demo agreement I wasn't all that happy at first because one of the main reasons I opted for a personal blog instead of an SU site was so that I would have creative licence to create what I like. For the most part I love creating with SU products or I never would have signed up to become a demo in the first place but every once in a great while I do like to experiment with other products. I can see Stampin' Up's point that they are trying to convey to their demos, why would you link to another store that sells competitive stamps or design for another stamp company when your selling Stampin' Up. So by the end of this month you may see some small changes to my blog with regards to linking to sites that sell competitive merchandise.

WSC96 - Goblin Greetings
On to the projects, the card for today was created using Beate's Weekend Sketch #96 which I not only flipped but didn't tuck in or cut my circle (see sketch below). I used the stamp set Pumpkin Patch and some retired SU Halloween paper that I still have scraps of to create this card and matchbox.

Fabulous Lynn!!
I just love all of your creative little projects everyday!!
This is so super cute!
Those Halloween projects are so cute (of course)!!
And I was wondering what you would do about that SU! announcement. I think it got a lot of people up in arms and they seemed to clarify it pretty fast. Although I do think it infringes on my personal rights some, I do see their point. I am so relieved you decided to keep your blog going... you do such beautiful work and I would miss it desperately if you decided to stop it.
Have a great weekend, Lynn!
love your projects! I too was wondering what you would do with the SU! news I've been hearing about.
Gorgeous ensemble. I love the card and the sweet little matchbox.
Thanks so much for playing, Lyn!
I am happy you will stay with SU and we will continue to see you work your magic with their products. I still haven't made my final decision yet, but I am leaning to not signing it. If I was just a demo, I would be fine with their strong rules. But since I also work for SCS, and basically have to be super vage about non SU work (that I will do for SCS), I am not sure. I think their rules conflict with my work (or showing off my work) for scs.
Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend
Hugs and smiles
