TSG124 - My Life is Brighter

Hello there!  This week over at the There She Goes site our Trendsetter of the week is Debby and she has given us a color challenge to make a card using the colors yellow, grey, plus 1 neutral color.

For my card I used the TSG stamp set Lighten Up and used the color black as my neutral.

Supplies: Lighten Up - TSG, Lilybeedesign dp, Ribbon, Nestie dies, Copics, Polka dot embossing folder, Foam tape.
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

Thanks for stopping by today! Please pop by the There She Goes blog to see all the details for TSG124 and how to play along.

SSSC137 - Happy Haunting!

It's time for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #137.
I had so much fun using Karen's sketch for this week that I created two cards using it, both Halloween.  This first card I used the adorable There She Goes stamp set Bugs & Hisses along with the fun Spider Web border die.
It's difficult to see but for the images on both cards I added some Spica Glitter pen.
Supplies: Bugs & Hisses, Spider Web border die -TSG, Halloween dp- SU, Ribbon, Buttons, Corner rounder, Spica Glitter pen, Circle Nesties, Foam tape.

This next card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Tag-It's #7 along with the PTI Halloween Prints designer paper.
To play along create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen’s blog The Sweetest Thing and link your card so we can all see your creation!

Be sure to visit each of the Sweet Sunday Stampers below for more samples using this week’s sketch!

Happy Harvest

Hello friends!  Hope your day is going well.  Today I have a fall card to share that I created for the CR84FN39 Color Challenge and the Passion for Papertrey Challenge which was to use not only Papertrey Ink stamps but to also use a tag as well.
For my card I used the PTI stamp set Autumn Acorn (love this set) I started out with an early espresso card base.  For the more mustard panel I stamped the bottom portion with the herringbone stamp set, then embossed the top half with a woodgrain impressions plate, added a strip of Autumn Abundance paper and sponged the edges.  I die cut the tag from crumb cake cardstock, added my sentiment, bow and twine and sponged the edges.  Then I die cut and stamped two acorns and several of the leaves and layered them together on the tag.
It's definitely feeling like fall here in Michigan.
