MFT September Guest Designer

Hello there!  I'm so happy to be back to share a few more of the cards that I created using the fantastic products from the MFT September release.  I'd like to thank the My Favorite Things team for having me as a guest designer this month, it's been so fun and such an honor.
For my first card I used the new Fall Friends stamp set along with the Big Hello die-namics die and the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges die-namics to create a sunny thinking of you card.

I started out with a white card base, then added a strip of yellow polka dot paper from the Dots & Stripes Sorbet paper pack.  Then I used a piece of watercolor paper that I had die cut using the Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges die-namics and I did some watercoloring using mustard seed & wild honey distress inks.  Next, using mustard seed, wild honey and crushed olive distress inks, I watercolored the cute, Fall Friends sunflower image that I stamped onto watercolor paper.  After that, I used the Big Hello die and die cut it twice, once from craft foam and once from yellow cardstock.  I used the same yellow distress inks and sponged on some color along the bottom of my yellow die cut letters, then glued them to the die cut foam letters for some added dimension and adhered them to my watercolored panel along with my watercolored sunflower.  To finish off my card, I adhered my stamped sentiment banner and tied on some black and white bakers twine.

I had so much fun creating this next card!  These Llamas from the Llama Love set are a crack-up!
I started out by stamping the llamas and cactus images onto watercolor paper and watercolored them using some rusty hinge, scattered straw, mowed lawn and crushed olive distress inks.  Next I used another piece of watercolor paper for my background and blended on some wild honey distress ink, added some water splashes and some flecks of black craft ink using a paint brush.  After that I used the Stepped Up Chevron die-namics and die cut one from red cardstock and one from yellow cardstock and adhered them onto a strip of kraft cardstock.  The final step was to stamp my sentiment along the bottom of the card and assemble my scene, popping up two of the cactus and the front llama with foam tape.  For some added color, I die cut saddle blankets for the llamas and added some red and gold sequins for some sparkle.
I hope you've enjoyed my projects and thank you for stopping by!

Two beautiful cards! I just adore your first with that scalloped edge framing your piece, the chevrons, and the sentiment on your llama card is a hoot!
