Birthday Tweetings My Favorite Things!

Hi there!  The card I'm sharing today is for the My Favorite Things 10 Year Birthday Celebration, they've added an extra challenge for this month (other than their color & sketch challenge) in which you are to create a card using 10 elements. For example a card that uses 10 colors, 10 die cut pieces or for a 10th birthday or anniversary card.
For my card I used the fun MFT's Tweet Friends stamp set and made a birthday card.  I knew I wanted to use 10 of the bird images from the Tweet Friends set so I used Jennifer McGuire's fantastic time saver tip.  Below you can see the steps I took in doing this but be sure to pop over to Jennifer's blog to see this idea in action and her great video.

I grouped a bunch of the bird stamps onto an acrylic block, careful to leave space around each stamp. Then I stamped them onto cardstock and arranged the dies on top of each image.
Once the dies were in place, I used Press'n Seal (yes the great stuff you use in the kitchen) and laid a piece over the dies and pressed.
When you lift up the piece of Press'n Seal your dies come with it and you're able to reuse this piece again and again which enabled me to stamp and die cut a whole flock of these fun birds to use.
So much thanks to Jennifer for sharing this idea and her wonderful talent!
For the background on my card, I used one of the bird cage images and randomly stamped it onto black cardstock using Versa ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  Then I arranged and adhered my birds which I colored using Copic markers onto my black embossed card front.  I die cut two of the bird cages from white cardstock and glued them together and adhered that along with my sentiment banner and a popped up bird to the center of my card front.
Thank you for stopping by!

I love this stunning, colorful, creative card. Thanks for the tips on using Press N Seal. I have used it to keep arranged cut out flowers in place while I apply adhesive to the back, but not in the diecut machine.
