It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challege! Our hostess for this week is the talented Broni who chose our delightful color palette. We hope you'll take the time to play along with us this week, we'd love to see what you create using the challenge colors.
For my card, I used the Stamping Bella Uptown Girls Felicity & Blair living life stamp to create a birthday card. These stamps are so much fun to color and I love the playful illustrated design. I started out with a kiwi kiss card base, then added a polka dotted piece of SU designer paper that I matted with white. On top of that I added a horizontal piece of pool party colored designer paper with a scallop border edge. My stamped image was colored using Copic markers and I also added some Spica glitter pen here and there for some sparkle. For my sentiment I used the Paper Smooches stamp set Birthday Sampler which I stamped on a white banner. The flower was created using PTI flower dies which I scrunched up and sponged with ink, then added a button with bakers twine. (You can click on any of the pictures in this post to see a closer shot and more detail).
