SSSC162 - My Cup Runneth Over...

Good morning and thanks for popping in!  It's time for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge and Karen has a fun sketch for all of us to create with.
For my card today I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Tea for Two and Tea for Two Additions along with the coordinating dies.  I also used the little flowers from the PTI stamp set Honey Bees to give the look of the teapot pouring the flowers into the teacups.  I added tiny rhinestones to several of the flowers to add some sparkle and popped up the little bitty bird sitting on the rim of the cup.
Supplies: Tea for Two & Tea for Two Additions & dies, Honey Bees, Bitty Bird & die, Banner die, Filigree border die, Circle Nesties, Ribbon, Rhinestones, Button, MFT Flower die, Foam tape.  Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Ruby Red, Old Olive, Regal Rose, Daffodil Delight.

To play along create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen’s blog The Sweetest Thing and link your card so we can all see your creation!

PTI June Blog Hop - Birthday Posie

Hello and welcome!  Today is the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop, the inspiration for this month's hop is the photo of these pretty pillows below.
As much as I wish I had the blue green color in these pillows, I don't (need to add that with my next order) so I went with what I had. There is so much great texture and pattern in this photo but as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to use the PTI stamp set Rosie Posie as my main image. I started out with a taken with teal card base, then added a white panel. Then I added a panel of cool Caribbean which I stamped using the rose and leaf stamps from the set to give the look of the larger pillow. I used some My Mind's Eye yellow and white check designer paper and layered that with some yellow diecut scallops and topped it off with some velvet ribbon to give the look of the ruffled yellow pillow from the inspiration photo. And finally I used a circle for my main image (like the small circle pillow) and popped the yellow rose, added my banner sentiment, button and bling and I was good to go.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the Hop!
