Lemon Cupcakes

Hello there! You may or may not have noticed that I haven’t been blogging/card making very much over the last few months. The reason being is that our youngest son has had some serious health issues and our family has been under a lot of stress. Needless to say that right now things are stable and I’ve got the bug to create again so today I’m sharing a mini slimline card that features the Lawn Fawn Cupcake dies for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #152 Fun with Food. 

Since I love the cute Zesty Lemon dies my friend purchase for me, I decided to create a lemon cupcake birthday card. Along with the lemon dies and Stitched Cupcake dies, I used the Scripty Sweet die and the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set for my sentiment as well as the distress oxide inks in wild honey, carved pumpkin, worn lipstick and lucky clover.

Four Petal Birthday - CTD741

Hello! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have the a wonderful color palette to create with!

This week I’m back using more dies from the Spellbinders supplies I ordered while they had a sale going on and I’m really enjoying creating with these detailed dies.

Supplies I used to create my card: Spellbinders - Four Petal Thank You Floral dies, Sweet Birdie dies. Distress Oxide inks - worn lipstick, mustard seed, mowed lawn & peeled paint. Brown Stickles glitter. Outside in Stitched Rectangle dies. Papertrey Ink - Birthday Basics. Foam tape.

Hello! I’m hostess over at the Color Throwdown Challenge for this week and I chose some fresh colors I thought would be fun to create with for this time of year.

Products I used to create my card: Spellbinders Lemon Zest dies, daffodil delight, garden green, certainly celery and white card stock, mustard seed & pine needles distress oxide ink, Lawn Fawn Outside in stitched rectangle dies, Honey Bee Stamps Squeeze the Day stamp set and dies and iridescent green sequins.
