Have a Magical Day!

Happy Saturday!  It's a rainy day here today and I'm glad, once in a while you need a rainy day.  Other than running to the farmers market this morning and doing some cleaning, I was able to finish a book I was reading and make a few cards (it's a good day!).
The card I'm sharing today is one I created using two different challenges.  I used the Lawnscaping Challenge #137 which is to add texture to your card and the Fusion Challenge for it's sketch and a bit of color.
For my card, I used the sweet Lawn Fawn stamp set Fairy Friends along with the coordinating Fairy Friends Lawn Cuts.  I started out with a white card base, then added an embossed white panel using the an embossing folder.  Then I die cut a rectangle of white cardstock and using chipped sapphire & mustard seed distress inks I blended a morning sky, added green hills cut with the Stitched Hillside Border dies with one hill embossed with polka dots and my stamped sentiment on a banner.  I stamped, colored with Copic markers and die cut the swirly fronds, lantern, flowers and fairy from the set and added them to my scene, popping up the fairy and lantern.  As a final touch I tied on some black & white bakers twine and added some yellow Stickles for some glitter.
Hope you're having a good weekend!
