Happy Saturday everyone! It's time for Jen's Sketch for You to Try, this is one of the cards that I made as the guest designer for the month of December. To see Jen's fantastic card and the first card I created you can visit Jen's blog i{heart}2stamp, you can also find the rules on how to play along with this fun sketch! For this Christmas card I used a circle shape image instead of a square like the sketch because that's the only image I could find to work with this smaller sized card. I used some retired Dashing designer paper and the stamp set Merry & Bright for the snowman, the Merry Christmas stamp is from the Season of Joy stamp set and the rest of the card is pretty straight forward.
Be sure to visit Jen's Stampin' friends to see their creations using the sketch Amy R, Carole, Shannan, Susan.
Well my Christmas cards are done and mailed, the tree and decorations are up and my shopping is close to being done but not all the way. How about the rest of you are you ready for the holidays?
Beautiful job with the sketch Lynn!! Wow, love all the layers and your paper piercing, cute!! Yep, ready here, thankfully! :)

ReplyDeleteChristmas? Well ... been recovering from foot surgery since Thanksgiving, and I'm still staring at Pilgrims & Pumpkins scattered throughout my home. No tree, no decorations ... it's quite depressing! LOL!
Lynn this card is so darling! Super cute! Glad to hear most of your christmas decorating and card are done. I still have to address and send out our christmas cards, and still have some shopping left! After Wednesday I will FINALLY be able to breath and get ready for the holidays. Wednesday is my last finals day! Woo-Hoo...until then I am stressed!
