Seasons Greetings

First off I have to say that over the past two weeks I've been a bad blogger. My creating time has been very limited between taking extra time with our youngest child who has been having some discipline issues, getting ready for Halloween and having my DH go away for several days for hunting, creating was pushed to the back burner. I miss blog surfing and seeing what everyone is up to, I love seeing new projects and reading how my on line friends are doing and hope to be back to surfing soon. Even thought my creating time has been limited I've still been trying to stamping a few projects, I'm just not able to share them with you yet until they've been received by the friends they were created for.
In the mean time I've also been trying to work on creating more Christmas cards so I can have them done and ready to send out. Both of these cards use Karen Lockhart stamps and both of the images were colored using Copic markers. The mitten card was created using Beate's Weekend Sketch from this last weekend, this is an excellent sketch I can see using again and again.

On the close up shot of the snowman card (click to enlarge) you can see that I added dazzling diamonds to the falling snowflakes and pom pom on the hat of the snowman and that I cut and embossed the image using my square Nestabilities die. For the back ground on the snowman image I used the Copic marker YR31 Light Reddish Yellow which is suppose to make the image pop. I found this tip two different places, first on I love markers and then again on Michelle's post on her blog Mish Mash and her adorable snowman card (Michelle is one of my amazing on line idols I love her style). I'm hoping the yellow back ground doesn't just look like yellow snow, cause yellow snow is not a good thing, lol.
Supplies: IB Mittens, Snowman, Seasons Greetings - Lockhart stamps, Some designer paper from last year sorry no name, Nestabilities, Copics, Dazzling diamonds, Ribbon, Snowflake punch, Red gems, Scallop edge punch SU, Piercer w/mat, Pop dots. Colors: Real Red, Always Artichoke, Whisper White.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
