Garden Party Mini Slimline Card - CTD682

Hi there, crafty friends! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have some great new colors to create with.

For my card I used the Hello Bluebird stamp set Garden Party along with the coordinating dies to create a mini slimline birthday card. I also used a few images from the Fairy Dance stamp set which include the dragonfly and flowers.

All of my images were stamped, die cut and then colored with copic markers. For my background, I used the Hello Bluebird Mini Slimline dies and die cut a piece of white card stock which I blended on my cloudy sky using tumbled glass and peacock feathers distress oxide ink, but also a piece of orange polka dot paper. I used Grassy Hillside border dies and die cut a piece of green parakeet card stock then blended on some mowed lawn distress ink. I used my Misti tool to stamp my sentiment and the music notes in my background and then assembled my card, popping up the three birds and two bugs with foam tape.
