Fairy Garden - CTD541

Hello! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge! This week we have the colors pink, brown, black and white along with whatever other neutrals you’d like to use.
For my card I used the Hello Bluebird stamp set Fairy Garden and the Fairy Garden dies which I’ve been having fun creating with. To create my card, I used a piece of white cardstock and blended on some spun sugar distress ink in the center and some antique linen distress oxide ink along the bottom then sprinkled it with some water drops, let it sit for a minute then lifted them up with a piece of paper towel. Once that was done I watered down some white craft paint and did white splatters onto my blended cardstock. While that was drying, I stamped my images and colored them using Copic markers. For along the bottom of my card I used the Grassy Hillside border die and some cream colored cardstock to die cut some grass. Yes even if you can’t use green on your card you can still make it work. I used some frayed burlap oxide ink along the edges of my die cut grass and attached it to the bottom of my card front. Next I added my images, popping up the two fairies and the mushrooms. I heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder onto a strip of black cardstock. As a finishing touch, I added some Wink of Stella clear glitter pen to the fairies wings, dresses, leaves, flowers and magic wand. I also added some chunkier glitter to all of the flowers. If you look close at the pictures below you can see the glitter in a starburst around the fairies magic wand.
