Hello! Thanks for stopping by! Today starts a new color challenge over at the Color Throwdown where we have the colors orange, yellow and blue to create with and we hope you’ll join in and play along.
I’m also entering this card in the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge where they have a sketch for everyone to create with. For my card, I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set So Smooth along with the So Smooth dies. I started out by stamping a bunch of the images from the set and coloring them with Copic markers then die cutting them out. If you’re wondering where I got the orange slices and image, I ended up wanting more orange color in my scene so I used two of the peas from the Be Hap-pea set and dies and colored one a solid orange and the other a yellow orange in the center with a darker orange along the edge then used a black pen to add lines for the sections and used scissors to cut the orange in half. I also stamped two of the little party birds from the Party Animal stamp set. I used the Outside in Stitched Rectangle Stackables die to die cut a piece of the Spring Fling paper along with a blue gingham piece of Doodlebug Designs paper. Next I used the Small Stitched Circle Stackables die to cut a white cardstock circle the I adhered my images to popping up the yogurt, banana peal, blender and orange slice with foam tape. I stamped my sentiment onto a white banner that I die cut using the Everyday Sentiment Banners.
