Hello there! Today I’m sharing the first card in a set of cards I have created using the new Lawn Fawn stamp set Be Hap-pea. The little peas in this set crack me up with all of the different faces you can stamp on them and the way you can arrange them.
To create my card, I stamped a bunch of the images from the Be Hap-pea set then colored them with Copic markers and die cut them out using the Be Hap-pea dies. I started out with a white card base then added a piece of yellow gingham Echo Park Dots & Stripes paper which I die cut using the Outside in Stitched Rectangle Stackables. Next I die cut a piece of new leaf cardstock with the same rectangle die and then used the Stitched Hillside Borders die along the top. Once that was done, I used some lucky clover Distress Oxide ink along the edges and adhered that at the bottom of my yellow gingham piece. I die cut a piece of white cardstock using the Outside In Stitched Square Stackables die and adhered it to my card front, then added my images popping up the center pea pod and all of the peas. After that I stamped the hap-pea sentiment and die cut it out and then die cut two more of the same so that I could glue them together to give my stamped sentiment some thickness. I stamped the word birthday and then glued on my die cut hap-pea. As a last minute thing, I decided to use my Misti tool to stamp the curved hap-pea birthday to you because it fit so well above the peas. Lucky for me it came out alright.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see the other card I created using this adorable set!
