Lawn Fawn Hay There Card Series Day 4

Today is Day 4 and the final day of my Lawn Fawn Hay There Card Series. Today I’m sharing a pop-up birthday card using the cute farm animal images from the Hay There stamp set.
I’m also entering my pop-up card into the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge which is to create a 3-D card. To construct my card, I used the Lawn Fawn Hay There stamp set and Hay There dies and the Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up die and die cut the main box from spring rain cardstock. The inside vertical panels were cut from new leaf cardstock and then using the Stitched Hillside Borders die I cut three pieces, one from the same green cardstock, one from yellow gingham and one from green designer paper and attached those to the vertical tabs to create rolling hills that I attached my images to. I also used the Little Picket Fence Border die and attached that to the first vertical tab with the barn. The images were stamped, then colored with Copic markers and then die cut. The three main images, the horse, cow and pig were attached using foam tape.
All of the flap panels were cut from white cardstock and each were decorated using the Stitched Hillside Border die and more images. For the front flap, I used the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set along with the Happy, Happy, Happy die to create the main part of my sentiment. I die cut three of the Happy from yellow cardstock and stamped the top Happy in summer sun ink then glued them all together and stamped the remainder of my sentiment in black ink.  For the back flap panel, I stamped the sun from the Hello Sunshine set and then blended on some spring rain ink and added two die cut clouds. To make the sun pop a little more, I stamped it again onto white cardstock and used a circle punch to punch out the center and attached it with foam tape.
For the bottom side panels, I used the Stitched Hillside Borders again with yellow gingham paper and added the pig and chick images on one and the goat and tin can on the other.
Thanks so much for stopping!

  1. This is so neat, Lynn. I so appreciate you showing all the details and the little video of the panels on the sides, too. You do great work. I was wondering if you remember the colors you used on the animals. I'm still new to Copics and am trying to get a handle on good color combos. No worries if you don't remember. Thank you so much for sharing this fun and happy project. :)
