Hello Friend - CTD488

Good morning!  It’s my turn to play hostess over at the Color Throwdown Challenge this week and I’ve chosen some bright spring colors for all of us to create with.
Using the colors for this week, I created a card and coordinating tag using the Papertrey Ink stamp set Flower Power. For both the card and the tag I used some tropical teal polka dotted paper and the same stamped images which I did a little Copic marker coloring on the sunflowers. For the card, I added a strip of paper along the bottom, added a white die cut Mix & Mat Scallop piece which I popped up with foam tape and then my images popping up the top sunflower with more foam tape. I stamped my sentiment onto a small die cut banner and added some iridescent sequins to complete my card. For the tag, I used the Basic Bookmark 2 die, added a strip of teal polka dot paper, stamped my sentiment and added my stamped images along with a few sequins.
For more inspiration, check out the design teams' blog links below OR you can go to the Color Throwdown blog for details on how to play along and you can see all the sample entries in one location.
