Before I get to my post, I'd like to first welcome our new CTD team member, Amy Rohl. I'd also like to welcome this month's guest designer, the talented Jill Hawkins. Welcome ladies!
For my card I did a bit of watercoloring using the Papertrey Ink stamp set Bold Blossoms. I used a panel of watercolor paper for my background which I watercolored using my Gansai Tambi pale aqua then once it was dry I stamped my sentiment. Then I die cut and stamped my flower from watercolor paper and used my Zig Clean Color pens to watercolor the flowers and leaves. I used some foam tape to pop up the lower orange flower and added some sequins as a final touch.
You really rocked the Color Challenge. Great color washed background.
ReplyDeleteI love your bright, vivid flowers!! The way you colored your flowers is great too - not coloring to the edge of the lines. Very pretty!! :>)
ReplyDeleteOh, my goodness, look how beautiful your card is with these colors! Love it!
