To a Cool Friend

Hi there!  I'm popping in today to share a card that I made which was inspired by two different challenges.  The first challenge is this week's Lawnscaping Challenge #121 which is to create a winter-themed project (no one said it couldn't be winter/birthday, lol) and the second challenge is the Curtain Call Challenge where the theme is Frozen.
For my card, I used the cute Lawn Fawn Stamp sets Toboggan Together (for the penguins, snowflakes and cool sentiment), Party Animals (for the fun party hats), Year Four (for the balloons) and Scripty Sayings (for the happy birthday sentiment).  Just a few Lawn Fawn sets right?  But that's what's so great about the Lawn Fawn stamps, they can be combined together to create the funnest scenes!
I started my card with a white card base, then added an embossed panel of aqua mist cardstock, then stamped my birthday sentiment along the bottom and adhered a strip of lime green polka dot designer paper with a scallop border.  For my focal point, I stamped and die cut the penguin, party hats, balloons, circle, scallop circle and Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders. I colored some of the die cut pieces with Copic markers and added glitter and set them aside.  On the main die cut circle, I stenciled some clouds with aqua mist ink and stamped my small snowflakes adding glitter to the centers of the snowflakes.  Once I stamped the "Cool Friend" sentiment on my snow hill, I adhered that to the main circle and taped it to the scalloped piece circle.  Once my circle base was put together and adhered with foam tape to the card front, I adhered my penguins and one of the balloons with foam tape as well.  To finish off my card, I added some bakers twine and a punched snowflake with a rhinestone center.

Thanks for stopping by!
