SSSC#219 - Happy Hydrangea Hello

Happy Mother's Day!  It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  Karen has another great sketch for all of us to create with and we hope you play along.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Happy Hydrangea with the coordinating dies to create a thinking of you card.  I used a PTI impressions plate for my background, popped up the square panel and my main image and added a button.  You can see from comparing the photo above to the one below that after shooting a few pictures that I added some glitter to that single button, just to give it a bit of sparkle.  And boy do I ever miss using Photoshop from my old computer.  After switching to a new computer and Windows 8, I lost my Photoshop program and have been trying out a few new photo editing apps, but everything I try leaves my pictures look flat or the colors are off.  I guess right now it is what it is.
Be sure to check out what the rest of the Sweet Sunday Sketch Stampers have created:
I hope all the Mom's out there have a very special day today and are treated like Queen's :)

  2. So pretty Lynn!!! I love the bit of glitter you added to the button...it's the perfect touch of sparkle!!! I'll have to tuck that idea away for use later because I've never thought to add glitter to a button. You're so clever!!
