Hello friends! I hope you're ready for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge because it's sure to get you in the mood for spring. Our hostess for this week is Broni who chose these bright cheerful colors and fun inspiration photo.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Strawberry Patch & Strawberry Patch Sentiments along with the coordinating dies to create a birthday card. I started out with a crumb cake card base, added a barley banana embossed panel and a horizontal strip of melon mambo which I stamped using the pattern stamp from the Strawberry Patch set. I die cut and stamped my tag using the leaves from the set and a sentiment, then die cut and stamped the individual berries, flower and two leaves. Before adhering my die cut pieces to my tag I added a little bit of shading to each piece using my Copic markers. Once I had all my pieces taped down to my tag I added my ribbon with button and added it to my card front.

As much as I'm waiting for spring, we're having yet another snow storm with up to 6-8" of the white stuff.
Lyn - you seriously have it nailed - your take on the colors is just perfect! I mean when I see an inspiration pic, I envision a card, and yours is exactly how I would like it to turn out but regretfully it doesn't always happen that way... I think I shall try this time... your card is in every sense a great inspiration :)
