Hello there friends! I've got some fun news, I'm the guest designer this week over at The Shabby Tea Room!
The challenge for this week, #125 is "Sweet Summertime" create a card or project inspired by the COLORS in the photo below AND INCLUDE FLOWERS PLUS A STAMPED ELEMENT!
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Happy Hydrangea and the new The Sweet Life roses set. I tried to incorporate the three elements from the inspiration photo onto my card, I stamped the roses onto my background and used a woodgrain impressions plate to add texture. Then I added the newsprint die cut hexagons along the left side of my card and finally I highlighted a single hydrangea bloom by popping it up and layering it onto several mats.
Awesome!! I love STR!! You're the perfect guest designer. Your card is exquisite in every last detail! Just gorgeous. :-)
