Happy Thursday! The card I have for today I created using the Retro Sketches Challenge #9 and the Colour Queen Challenge #135. I started out using only the colors from the challenge and wanted to use the PTI Rosie Posie stamp set and dies, but once I got going I knew I had to cheat and throw in some old olive for the leaves or I wasn't sure it would look right. For the bottom portion of my card I used designer paper but for the top portion I used the hexagon patterns from the Rosie Posie set and stamped off before stamping on my white card stock to give a subtle texture to my background.
Supplies: Rosie Posie & dies, Filigree border die, Think Big Favorites #12, My Mind's Eye designer paper, Ribbon, Buttons, Foam tape.
OMG I LOVE this card, Lynn!!!!!!!!!! Now stop enabling my Papertrey habit! Seriously, every single detail about this card is perfect!! Love the colors, the background pattern, the flowers and matching ribbon, the large sentiment and that border die (that is never in stock when I want to order!). Definite CASE coming up!
