Happy Harvest

Hello friends!  Hope your day is going well.  Today I have a fall card to share that I created for the CR84FN39 Color Challenge and the Passion for Papertrey Challenge which was to use not only Papertrey Ink stamps but to also use a tag as well.
For my card I used the PTI stamp set Autumn Acorn (love this set) I started out with an early espresso card base.  For the more mustard panel I stamped the bottom portion with the herringbone stamp set, then embossed the top half with a woodgrain impressions plate, added a strip of Autumn Abundance paper and sponged the edges.  I die cut the tag from crumb cake cardstock, added my sentiment, bow and twine and sponged the edges.  Then I die cut and stamped two acorns and several of the leaves and layered them together on the tag.
It's definitely feeling like fall here in Michigan.

There She Goes Birthday Celebration

Did you know that There She Goes is turning the big three this month??

We've been celebrating the occasion all month long, by giving you fun challenges, contests and of course, heaps of prizes up for grabs! You can check out the details on the TSG blog.
The Trendsetters have been taking turns on giving away mini stamp sets on their blogs. You will know who is giving away goodies by spotting this icon on their TSG blog post.

Today is my turn!
All you need to do is leave a comment on this post and I will choose a winner using a random number generator from the post on October 1st.
For the card I'm sharing today I used the fun There She Goes stamp set Buckets of Love and the sketch from the Tuesday Morning Sketch Challenge #113 which is being sponsored this week by There She Goes.
You can see from the photo below that I stamped the sweet treats that fill the bucket twice so that I could pop a few of the sweets up and the image would have some added dimension.
Good luck and thanks for stopping by!

It's Sunday and time for another Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Falling Leaves and Autumn Acorn along with some PTI Autumn Abundance designer paper.

Can you believe we're going into the last week of September already?  Wow time is flying!  This week I'll be decorating our house for fall and putting up my Department 56 Halloween houses that I've collected for years.  It's so fun to see once all of the houses are placed and plugged in with the lights, sounds and animated pieces.  Our kids love it!

To play along create a card using Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch, then go to Karen’s blog The Sweetest Thing and link your card so we can all see your creation!

DS18 - Autumn Blessings

TGIF!  I made it through the first week of school for my kids.  I'm hoping that by the end of next week we feel like we're falling into a regular school schedule.  During the summer all of us got into the habit of staying up late at night and now we're paying for it.  Tired mom and sleepy looking kids even though we've been trying to hit the sack early lately.

Today I have a card that I created using the PTI stamp set Autumn Acorns and the sketch from the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge #18.
Supplies: Autumn Acorns + dies - PTI, SU retired dp, Oval Nestie dies, Embossing folder, Ribbon, Border punch-SU, Foam tape.  Colors: Early Espresso, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla.
