Hello friends I know its been almost a month since I've posted on my blog and I'm sorry to have left you without an explanation. To be honest not only did my life seem to become overly busy last month but I think I really needed to just take a break from blogging and focus on spending more time with my family. Other than spending time with my family I knew that I only had time to either make cards or scrapbook and knowing that I wanted and needed to complete a baby (first year) scrapbook for our youngest son that's what I've been doing. Scrapbooking was my first love before stamping and I've enjoyed diving back into it to create a book for our son. To me scrapbooking is very meaningful and I know that my two older children love to look at their scrapbooks and remember times from their childhood and so it was important to me that my youngest have the same thing. Thank you to those of you that emailed me to ask if I was well I truly appreciated your concern and it meant a lot to me to know that I was missed.
Onto the cards, these two cards were made with the stamp sets Cheers to You and Tart & Tangy and are 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". I wanted to make a few birthday cards for summer birthdays that are coming up and I wanted them to be fun and colorful.
Supplies: Cheers to You, Tart & Tangy, Cuttlebug embossing folders, Crystal Effects, Ribbon, Circle punches, Brads, Aqua brush, Piercer w/mat, Pop dots.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I kept checking back to see what you had posted and wondered when you hadn't been here in a while. Glad that life has just been busy and there was nothing tragic that kept you away.
ReplyDeleteI too started out in scrapbooking but stamping just overwhelms my crafting time. How nice that your children like the albums you make them.
These are both fun and colorful cards and I like the combo of stamp sets you used.
