Today's card is a birthday card for my oldest brother Jeff who's birthday is today, I can't believe he's 47 today. I just received this Nature Silhouettes stamp set about a week or two ago and this is the first time using it, I think its a great set to have for masculine cards.I started out by stamping the tree in Always Artichoke and the deer in Close to Cocoa on Kraft paper, then cut and embossed it using my square Nesties die. Then stamped the deer again in CC on Very Vanilla paper and punched out the head portion of the deer with Key Tag punch and taped it onto the main image. The Close to Cocoa panel behind the main image was stamped with the Sanded back ground and ribbon and three brads were added to finish off the card.
Supplies: Nature Silhouettes, Sanded BG, Sincere Salutations, Key Tag punch, Ribbon, Brads. Colors: Chocolate Chip, Close to Cocoa, Kraft, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla.

ReplyDeleteWhat an incredibly cool idea to stamp the image again on the key tag in a differnet color cardstock. Really brings focus to the image. Great guy card.
