Happy Birthday Tulips

Today marks the final day of the "Countdown to Karen" promotion that Susana and her design team are running and is also my day and Suzanne's day to share what we've created using Karen Lockhart stamps. Susana now has all of the New Karen Lockhart stamps for sale as well as some great Karen Lockhart Web Candy up for grabs on the Paper Craft Planet site - Fans of Karen Lockhart and a large selection of other fun products at her store Susana's Custom Art & Card Design.

For this card I used the Karen Lockhart stamp Tulips and colored the image using my Copics, then cut and embossed the image with my Nestabilities die. You may be able to see from this close up shot but as a final touch I used my Spica glitter pen and out lined some of the tulips to add some sparkle to them and then used Crystal Effects over all of the tulips to make them look waxy like real tulips do.

Supplies: Tulips - Karen Lockhart, Happy Birthday - Warmest Regards/SU, Sweetie Pie Squeeze designer paper -BoBunny, Ribbon, Baubles, Nesties, Spica glitter pen, Crystal Effects, Copics - RV10, RV11, RV34, RV17, R81, YG95, G99, E31, E35, E57, E47, B00, T0. Colors: Rose Red, Old Olive, Whisper White.

  11. Oh wow! This is absolutely beautiful Lynn! You did such a fantastic job! :D

P.S. Did you ever check into getting a photo tent? My parents bought me one for Christmas and I love it! If you are interested, check out my blog to see the difference in my pics. I am still experimenting but I can already see a HUGE difference. I always take my pics when it is pitch black outside too! Anyway, just thought I would let you know! :D
