BIG TROUBLE!

Yup I'm in big trouble! I ordered two sets of the Spellbinder's dies the day after Christmas (used my X-mas money) and they finally came yesterday. I order the small scalloped square and circle dies and had gotten the information from Spellbinder's that I could use these dies in my Cuttlebug machine so that I wouldn't have to invest in the wizard machine that they recommend using, just yet. Let me just tell you that I see why everyone really likes these dies, not only are they cost effective $25.00 for 6 dies (one package) verses $12-$15 for a single punch but storing and carrying the dies with you is so much easier and the results are beautiful - I'm sold! I also purchased the charm embossing kit so that I can not just cut with the dies, but I can get an embossed edge on them too.

These cards are for a friend of mine, I used one of my favorite new sets from the new Stampin' Up catalog called Bursting with Joy, its a simple little stamp set, but as soon as I saw it I new I wanted it! Its hard to see unless you click on the pictures to enlarge them but the stamp set comes with this pretty Spirograph circle that gives a subtle hint of color or pattern.

I hope she likes them!

Supplies: Bursting with Joy, Ticket corner punch, Large & small oval punches, Circle punch, Coluzzle, Ribbon, Spellbinder's dies, Pop dots. Colors: Whisper white, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink.

Thank for visiting!

  7. Yup, they are addictive!! I use them in my Cuttlebug also for cutting and embossing. I find that I can't get enough of them both figluratively and literaly lol. Great way to put them to use. Clean and crisp in design, and great color choices. Very elegant!

  8. Hi Lynn,
Can you tell me what "sandwich" you're using to cut with your Nestabilities and the Cuttlebug? When I use mine just to cut (not emboss) I get a partially embossed edge. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong!! TIA!

    Love your blog!

  9. Starqueen had asked which sandwich I use to cut on my Cuttlebug and I use: A plate
    C plate
Spellbinders die face up (groves up)
    paper or cardstock
    B plate
Then run it through your Cuttlebug machine.

I should have put this in my post, sorry.
