The Queen Bee - CTD727

Hello, crafty friends! Today I’m sharing my card for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where the colors are mustard yellow, pink and green. I love this color combination and tried to create something cheerful using these colors.
For my card I used the adorable Lawn Fawn Hive Five kit to create a birthday card. Supplies I used: Hive Five stamp set & dies, Honeycomb Stencil, Scattered Straw & Wild Honey distress oxide ink, Grassy Border die, Gleeful Garden stamp set and dies, Everyday Sentiment Banners, Copic markers, White gel pen, Foam tape, Hello Sunshine Remix paper.

Build-A-Snowman - CTD725

This week’s colors are red, green and brown and yes I know it’s January but since I hadn’t gotten a chance to create anything using the Lawn Fawn Build-A-Snowman dies that I purchased before Christmas, I decided to use them for this week’s challenge. Products I used: Build-A-Snowman dies, Outside in Stitched Square dies, Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Merry Christmas Line Border die. Tumbled glass distress oxide ink, green Doodlebug Designs paper, copic marker for shading.

Celebrate - CTD724

Happy New Year! I hope all of you enjoyed the holidays! The Color Throwdown Challenge is back and we’ve got some striking colors to kick off the new year.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set, Gran’s Garden along with the coordinating dies and the Calligraphy Classics set for my sentiment. To stamp my flowers, I used seedless preserves distress oxide ink and rich razzleberry su ink and for the stems I used smoky slate gray ink. In the center of each flower I added some black glitter and popped up a single flower with foam tape.
