Container Garden Card Set

Hi there, crafty friends! I’m popping in today to share a few more cards that I created using The Greetery’s new Container Garden stamp set.
The Container Garden set is such a fun stamp set to create with, I love the two step flowers, the sweet bees and how they work so perfectly with the Jumbo Jar die.
I used most of the same supplies to create both the cards I’m sharing today which include the Container Garden stamp set and dies, the Jumbo Jar die along with paper some classic gingham paper and the Outside in Stitched Rectangle die.

For my first card which was done with pink flowers and gingham paper, I blended on some carved pumpkin and wild honey distress oxide ink for the background of my jar and popped up all of the images with foam tape. I added an extra flower on both of the cards and also added clear glitter on the bees wings and glitter on the centers of the main flowers.
For my second card, I went with orange flowers and gingham paper and blended the background of the jar with salty ocean and faded jeans distress oxide ink. I also used metallic silver paper to die cut the jar lids on both cards.

Container Garden Birthday Card - CTD657

Hi there, crafty friends! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we’ve got the colors red, turquoise, green and gray.
For my card, I used the new stamp set from The Greetery, Container Garden along with the coordinating Container Garden dies and the Jumbo Jar die. This is such a fun set to stamp and put a card together with!

I started out by die cutting a bunch of the pieces from the stamp set as well as the jar and lid and then started stamping. I stamped the stems in new leaf and old olive, the dirt in chocolate chip, the small flowers in real red, taken with teal, tempting turquoise and cool Caribbean. The large main flower in poppy parade and real red with daffodil delight and crushed curry for the centers. For the background of my jar, I blended on some tumbled glass and broken china distress oxide ink and stamped my sentiment using my Misti tool. I popped up the main red flowers, the stems with flowers and the whole jar with foam tape before adding it to my background of red gingham paper which was die cut using the Outside in Stitched Rectangle dies. As a finishing touch I added yellow glitter Stickles to the main flowers and some clear glitter Wink of Stella to the bees wings.

S’more the Merrier - CTD656

Hi there! It’s Wednesday and time for a brand new Color Throwdown Challenge! This week we have the colors red, yellow and blue to create with.
For my card I used the fun new S’more the Merrier Lawn Fawn stamp set and S’more the Merrier dies to create a slimline birthday card. To create my card, I started out by stamping a bunch of the images from the set and then die cutting them out. Next I colored them using copic markers and die cut my card base using the Small Slimline with Lift the Flaps die.
For the background on my slimline card base, I used some mustard seed and ripe persimmon destress oxide ink right in the center where I wanted the glow of my fire. Next I used some salty ocean and chipped sapphire oxide ink and carefully blended around the yellow ink I already had blended. (I say carefully because I had to do this twice because I wasn’t careful) Yellow and blue mixed together makes green so you don’t want to go to close to the yellow already on your card base. Once my ink was dry, I heat embossed my sentiment in white and used the Stitched Hillside Borders die and black card stock to die cut the ground for my images. The little trees in the background are from the Happy Trails stamp set and dies.

Tea Time - CTD655

Hello there! I’m popping in to share my card for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where the colors are pink, green and gray.
For my card I used the adorable Colorado Craft Company stamp set, Playtime which was illustrated by Anita Jeram. I stamped my image onto white card stock and used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies to die cut it. I colored this image using copic markers and added some roses to the teapot and cup to give it an old fashion look. For my background I used some regal rose card stock and ink along with a Plaid Stencil for a subtle background. The sentiment is from the Tea Time Fun stamp set and I added it to the upper left corner of my image.

Garden Friends - CTD654

Hello! Happy Saturday! I’m late in sharing my card for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge but you still have time to play along.
For my card I used the sweet Hello Bluebird stamp set, Garden Friends and Garden Friends dies to create a simple thank you card using the neutral colors for this week’s challenge.

I used the Outside In Stitched Square dies and die cut to squares from white card stock. The larger square I stamped my sentiment on using the Typed Everyday stamp set and the smaller square I blended on some antique linen, brushed corduroy and walnut stain distress oxide ink. I stamped and die cut my images then colored them using copic markers. The mushroom and worm images are from the Garden Party stamp set and Garden Party dies as well as the word tweet which I stamped above the birds head.
