Party Animal Birthday Card - CTD631

Hello and happy Wednesday! It’s time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have the colors turquoise, pink, rust and magenta to create with.
For my card I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Party Animal along with the Party Animal dies to create a fun birthday card. I started out by stamping, die cutting and coloring my images. I used copic markers to do my coloring and then used a white pen to add highlights.

For my background I used paper from the Hello Sunshine paper pack and used the Outside In Stitched Square dies to cut my background piece and a white card stock piece for my images. For my birthday sentiment I used a stamp from the A Bug Deal stamp set and stamped it onto a banner I cut using the Everyday Sentiment Banners. I adhered my images using adhesive and foam tape and then stamped some confetti images around them in pink and turquoise. I added a little touch of yellow and pink Stickles on the candle, cake and confetti for a touch of sparkle.

Thinking of You Growth Card

Good morning! Today I’m sharing a card I created for the Just Add Ink Challenge #542.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink/Ink to Paper stamp set Growth along with the coordinating Growth dies.  For the plants I used the ink colors new leaf, simply chartreuse, spring moss and ripe avocado. For the pots and shelves I used the ink colors chocolate chip, kraft and regal rose. I used a piece of kraft card stock for my background and then used the Single Stitched Line Rectangle Frames die to die cut a piece of white card stock. I used the Keep It Simple: Thinking of You stamp set for my sentiment which I stamped on two separate lines in the upper right corner and I used some foam tape to pop up each of the planters.

Spring Blossoms Birthday Cards - CTD630

Hello there! I’m popping in with two cards that I created for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge. We have the pretty colors of blush, moss green and gold/yellow to create with this week. I’m also entering my cards into the Papertrey Ink Create a Birthday Card Challenge.
Both of the cards I created use most of the same supplies, I used the Papertrey Ink/Ink to Paper stamp set Blossoming Branches along with the Blossoming Branches dies. I also used the Feathered Friends Mini 1 stamp set and dies as well as the Boutique Borders: Birthday stamp set for the sentiments.
On my first card, I used the Mix & Mat: Scallops die and die cut it twice from white card stock once with the inside lace panel and once without and then glued them together. I die cut a bunch of the flowers and branches from the Blossoming Branches set and stamped the flowers in blush blossom and calypso ink, the branches in chocolate chip ink and the leaves in spring moss and simply chartreuse ink.

The bird was stamped in yoyo yellow, basic gray and pumpkin pie ink. I stamped my sentiment onto a white die cut banner and added that along the white scalloped panel, adhered my stamped images popping up four of the flowers and the bird with foam tape. For my background I used a scrap piece of yellow polk dot paper along with some spring moss striped paper and a strip of Doodlebug Design paper.
For my second card I used all of the same supplies as my first except I used a postage stamp rectangle die to die cut a piece of white card stock for all of my images and sentiment and my layout is different. On both cards I popped up the white die cut panels with foam tape and I added some clear green and small pink sequins.

Bugs & Kisses Valentine Card - CTD629

Hello, hello! I hope you’re having a good day! It’s Wednesday and time for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge where we have some fun colors to create with.
For my card I used the cute Lawn Fawn stamp set, Bugs & Kisses along with the Bugs & Kisses dies to create a Valentine. I started out by stamping and die cutting my images and then coloring them using copic markers. For my background I used the Outside In Stitched Square dies and die cut a piece of Doodlebug dot-stripe hot pink paper as well as a piece of black card stock.

I used the Stitched Scalloped Circle Frames and die cut white and pink card stock and then stamped my sentiment onto the white circle and adhered my images, popping up the bugs and also the black background square.

A Little Sparkle - CTD628

Hello hello! I’m hostess over on the Color Throwdown blog for this week’s challenge and I’ve chosen the pastel colors of pink, lavender, yellow and mint green to create with. I hope you’ll play along!
For my card I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set A Little Sparkle along with the coordinating dies to create a birthday card. I started out by stamping and die cutting all of my images then colored them using copic markers. Next I used the Outside In Stitched Rectangle dies with a piece of pink gingham paper and used a smaller rectangle to die cut a white rectangle. On the smaller white rectangle I used the Cloudy Stencil and scattered straw and mustard seed distress oxide inks to blend my sky.

After that I used the Puffy Cloud Borders dies and die cut my clouds for along the bottom of my card. I used my Misti tool to stamp my sentiment and the little yellow stars on my background as well as the word birthday along the bottom. The happy birthday sentiment was from the Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set and dies. I used foam tape to adhere the unicorn, fairies and top layer of clouds and added tiny yellow gems in the centers of three of the stars in my background. I added some Wink of Stella glitter pen to all of my images as well as the edges of the clouds.
