For the BEST DAD ever

Hello there! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today sharing a Father’s Day card I created featuring the fun new Tool Time stamp set and dies.
To create my card, I started out by stamping the images from the Tool Time stamp set and coloring them using Copic markers then I used the Tool Time dies to die cut them out.
Next I used a white card stock panel that I die cut using the Frilly Frames Retro Petals die and randomly stamped the images from the set and colored only the gray portions of the images with Copic markers. After that, I added a panel of black card stock to the front of my card base and adhered my stamped panel with a strip of orange Classic Gingham cardstock

I adhered my images to a die cut square and added a black card stock mat. Then I stamped my sentiment on a strip of white card stock and attached it across the middle of the square. I used foam tape to adhere the square to the front of my card.

For You - Spellbinders Large Die of the Month

Hello! I’m popping in today to share a card that I created using Spellbinders Large Die of the Month for May. The Kaleidoscope Card Creator dies are so unique and beautiful and allow you to create standard size cards or square.
For my card, I used the Large Die of the Month dies along with three shades of cardstock and die cut them from light to dark, (aqua mist, Hawaiian shores and tropical teal) and glued the pieces together.

I attached all of my outside pieces to a white card base and then used the center and die cut it from white cardstock and stamped my sentiment from a Calligraphy Classics Papertrey Ink stamp set. I also stamped a few stems from the set in hawaiian shores ink around my sentiment and then using foam tape adhered it to my card. For a bit of bling, I added aqua rhinestones in the center of each corner flower.

Hello Gorgeous - CTD594

Hello there! It’s Wednesday and time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge with some great new colors.
To create my card I used the Altenew stamp set, Spring Daisy. I started out with a white card base and I adhered a rectangle piece of dark gray card stock to the center.

Next I stamped the large daisy on a piece of scrap white card stock and used the coordinating stamp and some summer sun ink to stamp the inside of the daisy. After that I used Copic markers to add more detail and depth to the daisy and then fussy cut the image out. Once that was done, I used my Misti tool to stamp a few of the other images from the set and stamped them in black ink. For my sentiment, I heat embossed it in white onto a black card stock strip. The large colored daisy was adhered with foam tape and I added a few iridescent sequins to finish off my card.

Butterfly Collection

Hello, hello! A few weeks ago I posted the butterfly card pictured in the upper right corner above (you can view details here) and after that I almost forgot to post the other two cards I created using the same colors. So today I thought I’d share the whole set.
For all of the cards, I used Flora and Fauna stamp sets, mainly the Butterfly Jar set. I used different layouts for each card but used the same Copic markers to color all of the images. I fussy cut the large butterflies on each of the cards as well and used iridescent sequins and Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on all of the butterflies.
This first card I created for my mom for Mother’s Day. The love you sentiment is from the Owl Always Love You set.
For the second card, I used the Glass Dome set for the birthday wishes sentiment.

A Sealiously Awesome Birthday

Hello there! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today sharing a fun summertime birthday card I created featuring the new Sealiously Sweet stamp set and dies. The images in this set are so cute and perfect for either simple cards or creating full scenes.
To create my card I started out by stamping several of the images from the Sealiously Sweet stamp set, coloring them with Copic markers and using the Sealiously Sweet dies to die cut them out.

Next I used a piece of the Summer Splash Cardstock paper for my background and a piece of kraft cardstock for a border along the bottom of my card. I blended on some walnut stain distress oxide ink along the edges of the kraft cardstock and used my Misti tool to stamp my sentiment. After that I adhered my images, popping up the four seal images with foam tape.

A Little Bird... - CTD593

Hello! I’m popping in to share my card for this week’s Color Throwdown Challenge #593 where we have the colors pink, blue and yellow to create with.
The pictures I have of my card for today look very purple in tone when in real life the flamingo and flowers are very much a flamingo pink. To create my card I used the Hello Bluebird stamp set Silly Birds along with the Silly Birds dies and tried to give it a clean and simple look.
I started out with a white card base and used a rectangle stencil I made myself, using card stock and a rectangle die, and temporally attached it over my card front where I blended on some tumbled glass, scattered straw and wild honey distress oxide inks with a cloud stencil. After that I used my Misti tool to stamp my sentiment.

Once that was done, I stamped my images from the Silly Birds set, colored them using Copic markers and die cut them out. I stamped flowers from the Wildflower Bouquet stamp set in hibiscus burst, raspberry fizz, new leaf, summer sun and marine mist inks and used the Wildflower Bouquet dies to die cut them out. I attached my flamingo using foam tape and added the balloon and flowers. I added some clear rhinestones to the centers of the small blue flowers and two yellow glitter gems to the yellow flowers.

Tropical Scenes

Hello there! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today sharing an ocean themed birthday card I created featuring the fun new Tropical Scenes stamp set and dies.
To create my card I started out by stamping the ocean floor image from the Tropical Scenes stamp set and die cutting it using the Tropical Scenes dies. Even though this awesome image fits the length of a standard size card, I used just a portion of it for along the bottom of my die cut square of wave Summer Splash Cardstock paper.

To go along with my ocean floor scene, I used the adorable Sea You Soon stamp set and dies. I colored all of my images using Copic markers and popped up the octopus and fish using foam tape. I decided create my own sentiment using the Kinsley Alphabet stamp set and the Banner Basics stamp set and dies and for my background I used another piece of Summer Splash Cardstock and die cut it using the Frilly Frames Retro Petals.

Oh Hello Friend - CTD592

Hello, hello! I hope you are well. Today is Wednesday and the start of a new Color Throwdown Challenge where we have some gorgeous colors to create with. We hope you’ll join in and play along.
For my card I was inspired by this weeks challenge photo and I used the Flora & Fauna stamp set, Butterfly Jar to create a thinking of you card. I created a one layer card, other than the dimensional butterfly, and went with a loose flowing collage of images.
To create my card, I started out by using the Oh Hello Friend stamp set and stamped my sentiment towards the bottom of my card. Once that was stamped, I stamped the largest butterfly from the Butterfly Jar set just above my sentiment and stamped it a second time onto a scrap piece of white card stock.
After that I stamped images around my large butterfly with other images from the Butterfly Jar set and Oh Hello Friend set and then colored all of my images using Copic markers. I trimmed down the front of my card and adhered a strip of black striped Doodlebug paper, fussy cut my second butterfly and added it to my card front and then added some Wink of Stella glitter pen which you can see in the close up photo above.

Summer Sweets

Hello there! I’m up over on the Sunny Studio Stamps blog today sharing a fun summer birthday card I created featuring the new Summer Sweets stamp set and dies.
This was such a fun card to create and totally gets me in the mood for summer. I used the new Summer Sweets stamp set and stamped out the different popsicle images, colored them using Copic markers and die cut them out using the coordinating Summer Sweets dies

Next I used a piece of striped Summer Splash Cardstock, it’s bright colors were perfect to go along with the popsicles, and on top of that, I used a piece of yellow card stock. I adhered my popsicles using foam tape and added my sentiment, which I stamped onto two banners, along the top and bottom. After that I used the Sweet Word die and die cut it from black card stock and added that underneath my popsicles. The last thing I added to my card was to glue on a few of the Rainbow Dot Confetti.
