Happy Purrthday - Scalloped Box Card Pop-Up

Hello there!  Happy Thursday!  Today I'm sharing a fun project I created for the new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge.  Lawn Fawn is celebrating their 7th birthday so it's perfect that their first challenge on their new challenge site is a birthday theme.
Using the inspiration photo for the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge, I chose to create a fun birthday card using the Lawn Fawn Scalloped Box Pop-up card die and the Lawn Fawn stamp set Meow You Doin' along with the Meow You Doin' Lawn Cuts.  I used the little ball of yarn from the Meow You Doin' set stamped in several different colors to re-create the colorful dots of frosting on the cake from the inspiration photo.  I added these all around the bottom of the pop-up box card and even placed some with foam tape along side the cats for inside the box.
Below is a quick video showing how this card folds flat for mailing in an A2 sized envelope.
All around the outside of the box was decorated using the Lawn Fawn Grassy Hillside Border Lawn Cuts and images from the Meow You Doin' set along with a little kitten from the Bicycle Built for You set (I've got plans for using these big cats with the kitten for a cute Mother's Day card).  For the back panel that's flipped up (behind the cats) I used the cloud images from the Lawn Fawn stamp set Hello Sunshine.  All of the images where stamped, then colored using Copic markers and then die cut.
For the front flap of my card, I used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Happy, Happy, Happy along with the Happy, Happy, Happy Lawn Cuts to create my birthday sentiment.  I stamped just a portion of the purrthday sentiment onto a die cut Fancy Folded Banners and popped it up with a bit of foam tape in the center.
This was incredibly fun to create, a bit more work than your average card but still fun.  I won't be sending this off to just anyone:)

Wishing you a Beautiful Day - (CTD436)

Hello there, crafty friends!  It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!  We have some delightful new colors for all of us to create with and we hope you'll play along.
For my card, I used the sweet Lawn Fawn stamp set Bicycle Built for You along with the Bicycle Built for You Lawn Cuts to create a thinking of you card.  I started out with a square card base, then added a panel of daffodil cardstock, a strip of yellow gingham Doodlebug Designs designer paper.  Next I die cut a stitched square and used the Lawn Fawn stamp set Hello Sunshine set to stamp a few clouds and a sun and part of my sentiment, then added this to my card front.  Once that was in place, I then added a piece of new leaf cardstock which was die cut using the Stitched Hillside Border Lawn Cuts and then added my little bicycle girl with her kitty, with foam tape, which I stamped and colored with Copic markers and die cut.  I then stamped the other half of my sentiment and added some little yellow flowers from the Bicycle Built for You set.

Wishing You A Pawsome Day - (CTD435)

Hi there!  I hope your week is going good!  Today is Wednesday and it's time for a new Color Throwdown Challenge.
For my card, I used a simple layout with some designer paper and used the adorable Lawn Fawn stamp set Meow You Doin' along with the coordinating Meow You Doin' Lawn Cuts.  I started out by stamping my images from the set and coloring them with Copic markers, then die cut them out and adhered the sleeping kitty to the cat bed and glued on the toy mouse.  Next I die cut a white cardstock circle and a melon berry mat.  I used the Stitched Hillside Lawn Cuts with some yellow cardstock and adhered that to the bottom of my circle and adhered my images with foam tape then stamped the little Zzzz's above the cats head.  I stamped my sentiment along the bottom of my card and added my panels of designer paper with a scallop edge along the bottom panel. I added the circle with my cat to the front of my card using foam tape and tied on some black & white bakers twine.

Wishing You A Happy Day - (CTD434)

Hello and Happy Wednesday! It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge!  We've got some fun colors to create with that are perfect for this time of year.
The colors for this week's challenge are green, black and metallic gold but since I only had scraps of metallic gold, I ended up using yellow gold colored cardstock which is completely ok so please don't feel that you can't play along if you don't have the exact colors.
I used a few of my Lawn Fawn stamp sets to create a St. Patricks Day card for someone special.  I started out by stamping the cute raccoon, hat and four leaf clover from the Holiday Party Animal stamp set then colored them using Copic markers and die cut them out using the Holiday Party Animal Lawn Cuts.  I also stamped two of the little birds from the Chit Chat stamp set, colored them with Copies and die cut them out using the Chit Chat Lawn Cuts. Next I die cut a rectangle for my scene using a MFT Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle die and blended on some tumbled glass distress ink along the top.  I used some new leaf cardstock and the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders Lawn Cuts and attached that to my die cut rectangle.  Then I used the Lawn Fawn Happy, Happy, Happy stamp set and stamped the Happy sentiment on a piece of scrap white cardstock.  I stamped it first in daffodil delight ink and just the bottom in summer sunrise ink and then die cut it out using the Happy, Happy, Happy Lawn Cuts along with an extra die cut happy which I glued together.  I placed the die cut Happy where I wanted it to be but didn't glue it down until after I stamped the rest of my sentiment in black ink.  I added the raccoon to my scene using foam tape, glued on my Happy and the two little birds and using more foam tape I added the rectangle to my card.  For my card base, I used a piece of Doodlebug Designs green gingham paper with a strip of summer sun cardstock along the bottom.
