The card I have for today is a clean and simple snowman Christmas card using the fun Paper Smooches Swanky Snowdudes stamp set. I'm also entering this card in the Merry Monday Challenge #181.

Winter Woods
The card I have for today uses the new PTI Winter Woods stamp set and dies. I kept my card fairly clean and simple with a white card base and a white background panel which I heat embossed with iridescent embossing powder and the dotted stamp image that comes with this set. Next I stamped my sentiment along the bottom right corner, added a strip and small banner of ocean tides cardstock and added my die cut and stamped tree branch. Once that was all in place I added my red cardinal with foam adhesive and some glitter on some of the branches.

Christmas Cheer with White Poinsettias
Hi there! Happy Thursday! The weekend is almost here and the weather forecast is calling for snow. Today I've got another Christmas card using the Papertey Ink Painted Poinsettias stamp set. I've enjoyed using this set to create a variety of cards with different colors and layouts. So far I've created cards with stamped red, fuchsia and pink poinsettias so today I thought, why not white. This card has more of a modern feel to it with the white poinsettias and clean color blocks. I used a white card base and stamped my sentiment along the bottom in black ink, then added a horizontal strip of simply chartreuse and a thinner strip of limeade ice. Overlapping the green strips of cardstock, I added a rectangle of tropical teal which I sponged with tropical teal ink in the center to make the white poinsettias pop a little more. Then I added my die cut and stamped poinsettia flowers layering one set with foam adhesive and my leaves. I used limeade ice ink stamped off for the shadows on the flowers and simply chartreuse for the veins and centers which I added lime green glitter to.

Season's Greetings
Happy Saturday! I hope all of you had a good week. Today I'm sharing another card using the Papertrey Ink Painted Poinsettias stamp set. I've created several card sets using this stamp set and will be selling them in my Etsy shop along with other handmade items you can see HERE. Keep checking back for updates.
For my card I not only used the Painted Poinsettias stamp set and dies but the Plaid Builder and Season's Greetings sets as well. I started out with a white card base, then added a panel of tropical teal cardstock which I stamped off using the Plaid Builder set and tropical teal ink. Then I added a vertical banner of new leaf cardstock which I stamped my sentiment on. Once that was done, I added my die cut and stamped poinsettias, layering two with foam tape and my leaves. I used the ink colors both PTI and SU, raspberry fizz, melon mambo, scarlet jewel and summer sun for the flowers and new leaf, tropical teal and handsome hunter for the leaves.

Holiday Joy
I used the colors from this week's Merry Monday Challenge #179 which are pink, white and green. No matter where I shot pictures of this card, the colors still looked off even after editing but it is what it is. I stamped the poinsettia and leaves throughout the background and then stamped a die cut poinsettia and leaves and popped it up along the bottom of the panel. I added some lime green glitter to the center of my die cut poinsettia for a little sparkle. I used the PTI colors limeade ice, simply chartreuse and SU old olive for the leaves and for the poinsettias, pretty in pink, regal rose and raspberry fizz although the regal rose looks really harsh in these pictures its not in real life. I used a white card base and matted my stamped panel with regal rose card stock.

Kneaded You
Hi there! Today I'm popping in with a thank you card that I created using the fun new My Favorite Things stamp set Cat-itude. If you missed last Sunday's post, I wrote that I would be working this set and creating several cards/projects using it because I really hadn't planned on buying it (it sort of jumped into my shopping cart). I know everyone is sharing Thanksgiving and Christmas cards and I'm over here making cat cards, but no worries because I have a ton of Christmas cards I've made to share.
For today's card I used a gray card base with a panel of teal gingham from my stash that I matted with white card stock. Then I added a strip of regal rose with a die cut scallop and some bakers twine along the bottom of my card. Once that was all in place I die cut a circle, stamped my sentiment and added my die cut, stamped and watercolored images popping up the gray cat. I used tumbled glass, peacock feathers, worn lipstick, crushed olive and mustard seed distress inks to watercolor my images. I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge which is all about creating a card or project with thanks or Thanksgiving.

I've Got a Major Cat-itude!
That's right, you read that title for my post correctly! I do have a major Cat-itude. Crafty friends have you ever looked at a stamp set and really wanted it but didn't necessarily "need it" but just had to have it? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Well this wonky fun new My Favorite Things Cat-itude stamp set was it. I had to have it! So I told myself (yes I talk to myself, I get the best answers too) that if I bought this set I would work it and make a bunch of cards with it, and get every stamp in the set inky.
So this is the second card I'm sharing using this stamp set and it was so fun to make! I used this week's Retro Sketches Challenge for my layout and some washi tape which I stamped using the fish stamps from the Cat-itude set. I die cut and heat embossed my cat image using black Palette ink and clear embossing powder, then watercolored the image using picked raspberry, spun sugar and peacock feathers distress inks and added a hot pink rhinestone on her collar. For my sentiment, I stamped it in Versa Mark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
