After seeing Marybeth's card, I took inspiration from her kraft colored leaves and berry colored flowers and decided to use the Papertrey Ink stamp set Strawberry Patch to create a bookmark. For my sentiment I used the set All Booked Up and stamped in kraft ink I used the set Medallions.

Embellished Elegance - {SSSC257/RIC#78}
Since I had these colors out while working on yesterday's card, I decided to use them again to create another card not only for the SSSC but for the Runway Inspired Challenge #78.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Embellished Elegance along with the coordinating dies to create a birthday card (always in need of more). I started out with a white card base, then a panel of limeade ice which was a mat for a panel of cameo coral. Lining up my happy die on an angle using white cardstock, I die cut only half of the die and then used an exacto knife and a metal edge ruler, I trimmed away the remaining pieces to give a straight edge running through my die cut word. After stamping my sentiment, leaves and flowers I backed the stamped panel up with a cameo coral panel and added a layered die cut flower with button and stamped leaves in the upper left corner.

Rosie Posie Birthday - {C4C274/RIC#78}
Hi there! If you live some place cold like I do, I hope you're staying warm. Our kids were off school this last Thursday and Friday because of the bitter cold temps. I don't know about you but I'm ready for spring!
The challenge this week over at the Crazy-4-Challenges site is a sketch and we hope you'll play along. I ended up combining this week's sketch with the Runway Inspired Challenge #78. I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Rosie Posie for my flowers and Think Big Favorites #12 for the sentiment.

Happy Birthday - {The Challenge #25}
For my card, I used only the sketch to create a birthday card. I started out with a hawaiian shores card base, then I used some watercolor paper and some distress ink to do a little watercoloring. After that I added my die cut PTI scribbles and layered butterfly with rhinestones, banners and a few sequins and the card was complete.

Hello Sweet Friend - {SSSC256}
Hello friends! It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
I have a square thinking of you card using the fun Papertrey Ink stamp sets Heart-2-Heart #4 and Bitty Bird. I kept my card pretty clean and simple with a raspberry fizz card base, an embossed white panel that I used a impressions plate on, a panel of hawaiian shores, a strip of raspberry fizz designer paper and a die cut circle with my phone, bird and flower and sentiment.

Simply Jane - {PTI/C4C#273}
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
This week over at the Crazy-4-Challenges site we'll be celebrating Amethyst (the color purple), the birth stone for February. So for my card, I decided to combine the C4C challenge which is to use the color purple and another of the Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges, the one where you are asked to create a card using several different floral sets to create a bouquet.
I added in the PTI Simply Jane stamp set to give my card a romantic look with the silhouette of the man and women and with the filagree frame around them. And even though my bouquet is not that large, I used several different floral stamp sets to complete it. I used The Sweet Life for the roses, Delightful Dahlia Additions and Happy Hydrangea. I also die cut and stamped a few leaf branches from the Embellished Elegance stamp set for along side the frame. It's difficult to tell by these photos, but I used the PTI ink Limeade Ice for the leaves and the SU colors Orchid Opulence, Lavender Lace and Elegant Eggplant for the frame and flowers. I'll have to try and re-shoot these pictures with natural daylight to capture the true colors because they look more blue here than purple.

Papertrey Ink - Mini Blooms
Hello! Today I'm sharing another card that I created for the Papertrey Ink Anniversary Challenges.
The challenge that I'm entering this card in was where you where to create a card inspired by Maile Belles. Well, Maile is one of my stamping idols with her clean and awesomely designed cards, so this was a tricky one for me. I'm honestly not so sure I captured her look, for me it's hard to know when to stop with adding more but I gave it a go. I used a PTI stamp set designed by Maile, Mini Blooms which is one of my favorites. I also used the PTI Inspiration colors for this month and one of the inspiration sketches which happens to be based on Maile's card.

Papertrey Ink Anniversary
Hi there! I had a few minutes to myself this afternoon and jumped at the chance to create something for the Papertrey Ink 8 Year Anniversary Challenges that have been going on.
For my project, I created a gift tag with coordinating gift bag and a matching birthday card that uses the Papertrey Ink inspiration colors for this month.
