Using the sketch, which I flipped upside down I created a birthday card for my mom's birthday which is July 5th. I also used the colors from this week's Colour Queen Challenge.

Paper Smooches Designer Draft - You Make Life Sweet
Hiya friends! Today I have a card to share for the Paper Smooches Designer Draft Challenge. I used the Paper Smooches stamp set Sugar Rush to create a bright cutesy looking thank you card. I ended up flipping the sketch, adding a tag and an extra strip of designer paper but overall kept to the sketch.
Supplies: Sugar Rush, Copic markers, Doodlebug Designer paper, PTI tag die, Bakers twine, Googlie eyes, Glossy Accents, Enamel dots, Circle punch, Foam tape.

PTI June Blog Hop - Bowl of Sunshine
Hi there friends! Today's the Papertrey Ink June Blog Hop and I thought I'd play along. The inspiration for today's hop is the photo below which to me is very sweet with it's old fashioned bed frames and little girl shoes tucked at the ends.
I wanted to use the new PTI Bowl of Sunshine set that I just received and decided to pick out a few colors from the inspiration photo (colors from the comforter) along with the idea of the overlapping frames for my layout. I'm hoping I pulled off a little bit of a retro feel between the colors and the Pyrex bowls. Anyone who grew up in the seventies probably remembers having bowls like these in their kitchen. In fact since I'm a thrift store junkie I actually have some in my cupboards right now (not this color though).
Supplies: Bowl of Sunshine + dies, Ombre Builders, Bakers Twine, Score board, Foam tape. Colors: Hawaiian Shores, Cameo Coral, Daffodil Delight.

SSSC#224 - Friendly Flowers
Hello there! It's been a while since I've posted, but things have been busy here at our house with birthday's, Father's Day and summer activities. I hope your summer is going well.
It's Sunday and time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. Karen has another wonderful sketch for us to use this week and we hope you'll play along.
For my card I used the new Papertrey Ink stamp set Friendly Flowers to create a thinking of you card for a friend. Dawn McVey designed this stamp set and I absolutely love it, from all the fun flowers to the beautiful sentiments I knew I had to have it.
Supplies: Friendly Flowers set with dies, Buttons, Scallop border punch, My Mind's Eye designer paper, Raspberry Fizz designer paper. Colors: Daffodil Delight, Cool Caribbean, Hawaiian Shores, Raspberry Fizz, Simply Chartreuse.

It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge!
I used this week's sketch to create a thank you card to go along with the gift for my son's teacher. I used the Stampin' Up set Tart & Tangy for the lemon/orange and the Papertrey Ink sets Bigger Blooms and Turning a New Leaf for the sentiment and green leaves.

SSSC#221/CQC#243 - Birthday Blooms & Get Well Soon
Hi there folks! Hope you're having a good weekend! It's Sunday and time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.
I created two cards using this week's sketch and the colors from the Colour Queen Challenge #243. This first card is a birthday card and uses the Papertrey Ink stamp set Bigger Blooms along with some flower gems, button and butterfly.
The second card is a get well card using the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Trendy Tree Tops and Bitty Blooms. On both cards the background panels were stamped using different flowers from the Bloom sets and on the card below the top of the tree was popped up as well as three of the flowers for some added dimension.
