Hello there! It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challenge and it's my turn as hostess. I chose the colors for this week based on the photo below which I found while browsing Pinterest. I really liked the splash of bright colors against the neutral gray chair and wall and thought it would be interesting to see not only what I could create for a card but what others could as well. So I hope you'll play along!
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Mini Blooms with the coordinating dies. I also used the Retro Sketches Challenge #65 for my layout.

Good morning! It's time for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge. Karen has another fabulous sketch for us to create with and we hope you'll find the time to play along.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp set Ruby Rose with the coordinating dies to create a thank you card for a dear friend of mine. The colors I used are from this week's Colour Queen Challenge #190 and I have to tell you that I like this combination of colors more than I thought I would.

Hello There! You might have noticed that I haven't been posting all that much lately and actually missed out on posting a few cards from last week's challenges. I guess that's what happens when you have a crazy couple of week's and you're sick with a bad cold, things have a way of catching up to you and somethings gotta give. But...I'm back, and I'm here with my card for today's Color Throwdown Challenge. Our hostess for this week's challenge is Lori who selected this bright and cheerful color palette.
For my card I used the Papertrey Ink stamp sets Heart-2-Heart #4, Framed Out #2 (for the Hello There sentiment) and Medallions Background Basics. I also used this week's Retro Sketches Challenge #63 for my layout but ended up flipping the sketch.

It's time for this week's Color Throwdown Challege! Our hostess for this week is the talented Broni who chose our delightful color palette. We hope you'll take the time to play along with us this week, we'd love to see what you create using the challenge colors.
For my card, I used the Stamping Bella Uptown Girls Felicity & Blair living life stamp to create a birthday card. These stamps are so much fun to color and I love the playful illustrated design. I started out with a kiwi kiss card base, then added a polka dotted piece of SU designer paper that I matted with white. On top of that I added a horizontal piece of pool party colored designer paper with a scallop border edge. My stamped image was colored using Copic markers and I also added some Spica glitter pen here and there for some sparkle. For my sentiment I used the Paper Smooches stamp set Birthday Sampler which I stamped on a white banner. The flower was created using PTI flower dies which I scrunched up and sponged with ink, then added a button with bakers twine.
